Administration Instructions The enteric coating of Denamarin safeguards the SAMe from degradation. Additionally, Denamarin is packaged in blisters to prevent the oxidation of SAMe into the non-biologically active R,S-SAMe isomer. Directions For Use If possible, we suggest fasting overnight to ensure the stomach is empty before giving the tablet, which allows for optimal absorption of the active components. However, if an overnight fast isn't feasible, please wait at least 2 hours (preferably longer) after feeding before administering the tablets. After giving the tablet, wait at least 1 hour before feeding your pet. The dosage of tablets can be gradually adjusted, either increased or decreased, at the suggestion of your veterinarian.
