C’est pourquoi nous utilisons, pour les gaines métalliques de plongée de nos Sonde de canal, soit du laiton nickelé, soit de l’acier inoxydable.
Le laiton se compose principalement de cuivre et de zinc, qui confèrent à l’alliage une excellente aptitude au façonnage et à l’usinage, une bonne résistance mécanique, une tenue à la chaleur ainsi qu’une conductivité électrique.
Toutefois, contrairement aux produits classiques du marché, nos gaines de plongée en laiton reçoivent en plus une couche de protection en nickel. Celle-ci garantit leur résistance durable à la corrosion dans des milieux moins agressifs, de l’air et de l’eau jusqu’aux alcalis et aux acides dilués. Parallèlement, la couche de nickel empêche que des composants de pâtes thermoconductrices ne dissolvent le cuivre et ne provoquent une attaque par piqûres.
Les gaines de plongée en acier inoxydable offrent la meilleure protection contre la corrosion. Nous avons retenu, à cet effet, VA 1.4571 ou AISI 316 Ti, un austénitique particulièrement haut de gamme qui, en plus du chrome, du nickel et du molybdène, contient également du titane. L’alliage s’est notamment révélé performant dans la construction d’appareils et d’instruments chimiques, le traitement des gaz d’échappement et l’épuration des eaux usées. Sa résistance à la corrosion couvre également les chlorures, c’est-à-dire les sels, ainsi que les acides plus forts, y compris l’acide chlorhydrique (HCl).

An absolute hit for tug-of-war and keeping them busy!
If you have a pup that loves to thrash, toss, and carry their toys around all day, this octopus is an absolute game-changer.

Things to Keep in Mind:

Our Dog Loves This One
We got our dog two nylabones and this benebone and he really prefers this one. Like the nylabones he barely even looked at, but he loves this one so much it's starting to splinter off a little. Apparently it can just be sanded down again but I'll probably end up getting more of these so that we can switch them out. I noticed that the shape also helps him be able to handle it with his paws.

Initially showed little interest, then decided she loved it
The product itself looks great and is clearly very well made but my dog had zero interest initially in this which I find odd because many other similar toys she has attacked.
Update —- several weeks later all of a sudden my dog decided she liked this and started chewing on it and has been her favorite - go figure
Update 2 — it’s become her favorite chew and she’s obsessed with it! My older dog started chewing on it, and it broke one of her old teeth!
