This setup allows users to lie down, kneel, or stand freely without the cable and leash between their legs. It also simplifies the process of getting on the board and standing up. In this setup, the battery box will be attached to a mounting plate, which connects to the D-rings of the board using four Velcro straps. The mounting plate facilitates easy access to the lid of the box, allowing for the installation and replacement of the two batteries. To ensure that the signal from the remote to the receiver in the battery box is maintained, even when the tail of the board is underwater, a wire antenna will be installed in a pipe beneath the footpad of the Midfish Air. For this configuration, the regular cable must be replaced with the shorter eFoil cable.

The Battery Box Mounting Set includes the mounting plate, four Velcro straps, four 3M Cable Fasteners mount with adjustable tie straps (as an optional substitute for the D-rings on the tail of the board), the battery box with an antenna plug (which is slightly different from the standard harness battery box) and neoprene cover, as well as the wire antenna and the Cable & Connector for eFoil.
