In order to ensure they stay in tip top shape  we recommend  sharpening the blades using the Niwaki #1000 grit sharpening stone when they start to lose their edge. We also suggest cleaning them with the Niwaki Crean Mate with water to remove dirt and garden grime, and then using a drop of Niwaki Camellia Oil to prevent rust.
