The sun face and accompanying stars were first painted with professional-grade watercolors on Arches cotton watercolor paper. Each component was then cut out by hand, and the cut paper edges were painstakingly finished with dark watercolor paint. Finally, the miniature cut-outs were mounted to a 3.5x2.5 inch piece of 300gsm handmade cotton rag paper with deckled edges. The painting is signed and labelled by the artist on the back. This is an unframed original miniature painting, not a print.
