The Castelli Perfetto RoS 2 Wind Jersey is the result of a request by pro riders for Castelli to make a lighter version of the Gabba, for when it's too warm to don that protective yet breathable garment.Mid-way between a jersey and a vest, the Castelli Perfetto RoS 2 Wind Jersey shares the Gabba's short sleeves but is lighter and more breathable. It is composed from a mixture of GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® 203 Stretch fabric at the front and sleeves, offering windproofing with breathability, and stretchy Nano Flex Light Woven fabric at the back, which repels rain and lets in enough wind to help you stay dry, without getting cold.It therefore offers wind protection in mild conditions, with just a light base layer, or can be worn over a jersey if it's colder, to act like a marginally warmer vest with better protection over the shoulders. Either way, it brings the lightness and freedom of a jersey alongside added warmth and protection. It can also be paired with arm warmers if conditions worsen.Previously known as the Perfetto Light, it's in its fourth iteration, or its second as the Perfetto RoS 2 Wind Jersey. The original design has been improved on by adding an extra pocket, better reflectivity at the back, a two-way zip for temperature control and a reduced tail for better packability.Now you can enjoy near-Gabba protection in milder conditions, or when it's cold but dry and you're planning to race or train extra hard.
