Birger Lindberg was born June 1, 1901 in Stockholm. He was a Swedish artist and writer.

Lindberg studied at the Slöjdföreningens school in Gothenburg from 1917 to 1920 under Albert and Hjalmar Eldh and at Valand's målarskola (painting school) under Tor Bjurström from 1920 to 1923. He worked for a number of years as a freelance journalist and illustrator for various newspapers in Gothenburg. During this time he traveled around Europe spending time in London, Paris, Brittany, Provence, Dordogne, Andorra (with a total of two years' stay in France, and in Spain for half a year in 1951 and half a year again in 1954). He was part of the artist group De Unga and one of the founders of Göteborgs konstnärsklubb (Gothenburg's Artists' club).

Lindberg exhibited his work in solo and group exhibitions throughout his career. Early exhibitions  include Första gängen (The First Gang) at Medén's bookshop in Gothenburg in 1924 (he exhibited exhibited in Gothenburg regularly including notable shows in 1925, 1932 and 1945).  He had solo exhibitions in Stockholm in1940 at Palladium, in 1946 at De Ungas Salong, in 1948 at Galerie Acté, and in Karlskoga, Norrköping and Örebro in 1944. Has showed in numerous group exhibitions including Konstnärsklubben in Gothenburg 1936, Galerie Moderne in Stockholm 1937, Les jeunes Artistes suédois à Paris at the Institute Tessin in Paris 1938, Abo and Helsingfors in 1950 and again in Les Artistes suédois de Paris in 1953.

He is best known for his portraits and figurative paintings. Great buy
Color: Blue+Red
My dogs kill every toy. They arrived very agressive chewers. These have lasted way longer than most balls have. Great value

If your dog loves tennis balls, you NEED these
Raising any puppy is tough. Raising a German Shepherd puppy has often left me questioning my life choices. So I was ecstatic the day that my 60-lb puppy decided that he loves tennis balls and occupied himself for 2 hours without needing constant intervention. Naturally, my immediate response was to make sure we had a constant supply of large tennis balls for dogs available. Now my puppy loves mischief, but he’s not an aggressive chewer. And I was irritated to discover that every brand and size of tennis ball broke within an hour max of play. By simply playing fetch and batting the ball around with his paws, every single tennis ball split into 2 halves. We needed something better! These squeaky balls are exactly that! They come in a 2-pack. I gave my pup the 1st one a week ago and it’s still going strong! We play fetch in the backyard, he brings it into the doggy pool with him, it rolls around in the dirt and can be rinsed off easily. It’s by far his favorite toy, and he takes it everywhere with him. Finally a squeaky ball that can keep up with my dog! These are the perfect size, texture, bounce, squeak, everything. These are the ONLY squeaky balls I will buy from now on. Five stars for sure!

Durable squeaky ball for chewers
Color: Blue+Red, Color: Blue+Red
These are great! My 54 lb GSP loves them and it’s the only thing she cannot destroy! She’s currently 1 year and we have had the balls for several months. We have this brand and similar ones too. They float, bounce, and squeak. The ridges are good for chewing.

Great squeaky balls
Color: Blue+Red
Awesome! My super chewers haven’t been able to destroy it. It’s been about 3 months now and it still squeaks and bounces like new! It’s a bit tougher than normal squeaky toys but so worth it for aggressive chewers.

Heavy chewer approved.
Style: Ball, Size: Medium (Pack of 1)
My pomsky will destroy a toy in minutes. Ropes, and the "indestructible" nylon type stuffs are no match for my furry shark. This ball has stood up to him like David. He loves the crunch and it is so much more tolerable than a squeaker. These will be a staple in his toy box - Chuckit toys are really the most durable dog toys I have found in three years.
