수상하는 기염을 토했다. 공연계에서도 소극장 1만, 카니발 2만, 헤드라이너로서 선 그랜드 민트 페스티벌에서 3만 관객 동원이라는 신기원을 매번 기록하며 이론의 여지없는 '머스트 아이템'으로 등극했다. 자연스럽게 관심과 기대는 그의 새 앨범으로 이어졌다. 그리고 이제 이적의 솔로 4집 '사랑'이 공개된다.
앨범 제목이 '사랑'. 제목 그대로 10곡 모두 사랑에 관한 노래다. 다른 가수라면 신기할 것 없는 일이지만, 늘 사랑 외에도 다양한 주제와 소재에 천착해온 이적이기에 그 의중이 궁금하다. 그가 말한다. "사랑 노래가 가장 쓰기 어려워요. 좋은 사랑 노래가 이미 너무도 많기에. 그렇지만 한 번쯤 사랑의 설렘과 다툼, 이별 등에 대해서 제 언어로 실컷 얘기해보고 싶었어요." 그의 말대로 이번 앨범의 10곡은 지극히 일상적인 소재와 구어체의 소박한 언어로 사랑에 대해 때론 쓸쓸하게 때론 뜨겁게 노래한다. 흔하디흔한 '사랑'이라는 소재지만, 이적이라는 필터를 거치며 다양한 감정들은 새로운 옷을 입는다. '빨래' '매듭' '보조개' '두통' 등 독특한 제목과 소재의 노래들이 가슴 깊은 곳을 처연히 두드린다.
음악적인 면에서도 지난 앨범보다 한층 진일보한 모습을 확인할 수 있다. 기타와 피아노를 연주하며 노래하는 이적의 모습은 그대로지만, 스트링, 브라스, 퍼커션 등이 적재적소에 들어가는 다채로운 편곡이 일품. 미니멀했던 지난 앨범 사운드에 비해 음악적 어휘가 훨씬 풍부해진 느낌이다. 작사/작곡가로서 뿐만 아니라 프로듀서로서 경지에 오른 이적의 역량을 만끽할 수 있는 앨범이다. 파워풀한 록 넘버 '그대랑' '두통', 마음을 울리는 발라드 '다툼' '빨래' '매듭', 독특하고 사랑스러운 사운드의 '아주 오래전 일' '보조개' 등 전곡이 필청 트랙이라 할 꽉 짜인 완성도를 자랑한다.

the "fit" is very precise

Nice Fabrication, Good materials, perfect adhesive applications, "clean joints" etc.
Appears to be a good UPGRADE from the stock Motorcraft product.
CONs: The FIT was a "smidge TIGHT", and took very precise initial alignment and "pressure" to begin to slide into the rectangular hole. I measured the "Hole" at 7.375" wide, or (187.33 mm)... the FILTER is exactly the SAME.
I would suggest maybe reducing the Width by 1 mm, to allow for an easier installation.
The MOTORCRAFT uses an "open-cell" foam structure for the (2) Side pieces on their filter assembly, allowing some "compression to fit", of the Width, easing the difficulty of installation, yet still filling all voids.
In summation, the "fit" is very precise. Not to be hurried or rushed, maybe a bit meticulous for the impatient or weak of heart.

Ladies and gentlemen, buckle up, because we're about to embark on a whirlwind adventure of cleaner air and contortionist-worthy installation feats with the Spearhead HEPA Breathe Easy Cabin Filter!
First off, let's talk about installation. If you're someone who loves a good yoga session or considers themselves a Cirque du Soleil dropout, this is the filter for you. The instructions are so clear and helpful that even a goldfish could follow them. However, be prepared to twist and turn in ways you didn't know your body could. And let me tell you, I'm not in the best of shape. I discovered muscles I never knew I had and positions that would make a pretzel jealous. But don't worry, it's all worth it.

Great Cabin Filter Upgrade
