We are proud to present this rare silver tourmaline, a gemstone that we acquired from a seasoned lapidarist at the prestigious Tucson Gem and Mineral Show 2024. The lapidarist, though American, spent his career living in Brazil and cutting Brazilian-origin gemstones. We had a strong feeling that this striking gemstone may have been an unheated Paraiba tourmaline, a rarity often found in silver and purple hues. At the time, it was uncertified. However, upon having it evaluated with GIA, we discovered that the tourmaline was not copper-bearing. Copper or no copper, this sleek silver tourmaline is truly in a league of its own!
