The CWR-1 Pinlock-Ready Face Shield is designed to fit Shoei RF-1200, RF-SR, and X-Fourteen Helmets, offering a wide field of vision that can rival other face shields. It provides protection against 99% of harmful UV rays and ensures a clear and distortion-free view across the entire range, thanks to Shoei's advanced 3D injection-molding process. While it doesn't have the Vortex Generators found in the CWR-F, it does feature innovative ribs on the top and bottom edges, enhancing its strength and preventing bending caused by wind pressure or during opening and closing. This improved shield system is complemented by an upgraded locking mechanism, marking Shoei's most advanced shield system to date.
