Mobil DTE 10 Excel 46 is the most widely specified grade in the DTE 10 Excel Series — a fully ashless, zinc-free ISO VG 46 hydraulic oil delivering up to 6% improved pump efficiency versus conventional zinc-based hydraulic oils, alongside outstanding deposit control in servo and proportional valve systems.
ISO VG 46 is the standard hydraulic viscosity grade across the widest range of industrial and mobile equipment — general industrial hydraulic power units, mobile construction and mining machinery, and high-performance hydraulic systems requiring energy efficiency and precision control. The zinc-free ashless formulation eliminates the risks of zinc-induced corrosion and servo valve deposit build-up, while the VI 150+ maintains stable viscosity from cold start through full operating temperature — substantially outperforming the 104 VI typical of conventional zinc-based ISO VG 46 hydraulic oils.

Mobil DTE 10 Excel 46 is a premium zinc-free, ashless anti-wear hydraulic oil engineered for high-performance industrial and mobile hydraulic systems requiring the widely specified ISO VG 46 viscosity grade. It combines a very high viscosity index (VI 150+) with an advanced ashless additive system — delivering proven energy efficiency gains, outstanding system cleanliness, exceptional keep-clean performance in tight-tolerance servo and proportional valves, and full compatibility with sensitive hydraulic system components.
Independent and field testing has demonstrated up to 6% improved hydraulic pump efficiency versus conventional hydraulic oils at the same ISO VG 46 grade — translating directly into reduced power consumption and lower operating costs in continuous-use hydraulic systems across mining, manufacturing, marine and offshore operations.
Approved by Bosch Rexroth RE 90220, Parker Denison HF-0/HF-1/HF-2 and Eaton Vickers 694 — all achieved with the zinc-free formulation.
