Tailored specifically for bass, the Bass War delivers a massive range of fuzz tones with a highly interactive tone control and a studio-grade clean blend. Like the Fuzz War, its graphics are spray-painted on a raw enclosure, keeping it punk. And y'all, it sounds sooo good. BASS WAR We’ve hit a new low. From this moment forward, the power and intensity of bass fuzz is changed forever. The Bass War by Death By Audio is a louder, wider-ranging, earth-shaking bass fuzz that can get more oomph than any other pedal we’ve ever heard. The Bass War began with the idea that we could make a version of the Fuzz War that was even more perfect for bass. Twisting classic circuit ideas to our own tastes, we’ve crafted a wicked, harmonically rich octave fuzz. It boasts extraordinary levels of gain, a massive tone sweep, and a MIX control, providing everything you need for the ultimate bass fuzz at your fingertips. It sounds freaking amazing but it doesn’t stop there, the Bass War goes BEYOND that and can deliver more volume, more tones, more fuzz, and more sonic syrup guaranteed to turn the heads of any bystander. The controls have super-extended ranges that let you dial in so many wildly different tones that are all surprisingly useful and HEAVY. Roll the FUZZ knob back for a dirty, sleazy, grinding drive, turn it up to noon for a super thick distortion, and then alllllll the way up for a blistering wall of total destruction. The TONE knob is a notch filter that transforms the overall sonic spectrum of the fuzz to sound like you are sweeping through an arsenal of 100 different fuzz pedals. Combine this with insane volume on tap and a MIX knob to get the extreme fuzz and distortion you always wanted for your bass without sacrificing volume or floor-shaking subs. Wrap it all up in a DBA punk-style raw enclosure with spray-painted graphics, and all that’s left to do is find a time machine so you can re-record all those old bass parts! CONTROLS VOL - Controls the overall output level from -inf to +27 dB, 10 o'clock is close to unity volume. WARNING: The Bass War is capable of extreme volume! FUZZ - Controls the gain of the fuzz from +16 to +64 dB. Ranges from raunchy drive, to smooth fuzz, to overloaded insanity. TONE - Sweeps a deep notch filter tuned for a wide range of 98 Hz to 3.3 kHz. This radically reshapes the fuzz sound for a massive range of tones. MIX - Blends between your clean sound and the fuzz. Blending in your clean tone helps your notes stay articulate, balanced, and bassy against the huge sound of the fuzz circuitry. POWER - The Bass War is powered by a standard 2.1 mm 9V DC adapter with a center-negative polarity. Isolated power supplies are recommended The Bass War can be powered with a 9V battery (not provided). The internal battery snap should be attached to the corresponding holes on the board when not using a battery. This prevents the contacts from shorting out against the circuitry.Designed specifically for bass and low tuningWide range of fuzz tones including drive, distortion, ripping fuzz, and super compressed total destructionA sweepable notch filter and a clean blend mean that almost any bass tone can be achieved with different knob settingsA studio-grade clean blendA highly interactive tone controlShipping Notes

Happy pup. Worth it.
My dog loves this thing. It takes hardly any effort to launch the ball. Flick of the wrist kinda thing. The squeaky ball is her favorite but unfortunately you can't buy this brand of ball separately. It says compatible with any 2.5 inch ball but that's not true. We have a ton of Penn tennis balls and they are just slightly too big for this launcher. You can do it but it's a huge pain and hard to throw. Another issue is that when we first got it the handle didn't want to stay screwed together. After the first day of use and having to rescrew it together multiple times, the issue seems to have corrected itself? Either way, for the price with the comfy handle, very low effort throwing for big pay off, two balls included and the crazy excitement from my dog anytime we get near the thing. It's definitely worth it. I like it much better than the chuck it and stone random cheap brand we used to have. I'm going to try one of the balls recommended in the product pictures. I'll update if they work out.

Ergonomic and well made.
I have at least a half dozen ball launchers and this is the nicest one. As efficient as any of them and it feels the nicest in my hand. As long as you tighten the handle when you put it together, it will serve your puppy well.

Ball Launcher Poorly Made and Hard To Use, Save Your Money
This launcher was too long and thin to pick up the ball from the ground, I had to use my other hand to press down on it. The screw on handle was heavy and kept coming loose no matter how tight I made it, strain on the wrist to use. The ball holder end would often not let go of the ball when trying to launch it. I ended up putting it in the trash. I had two shorter Chuckit launchers that are much better made, will stick with them. I don't recommend this to anyone, save your money.

Go Get It!
GoSports does it again.
Our family has a lot of GoSports products. It brings us comfort knowing when we order a product from them the quality is going to be great.
The Ball Launcher is excellent. Our lab loves the soft tennis balls that come with it, preferring them over the harder rubber ones from other brands.
The launcher itself is thoughtfully designed, well-made, and comfortable to hold.
Our new go-to for daily fetch sessions.

Gave it a Try
I have always used the Chuck It ball and ball launcher. I thought I would try this since the price was better. There is definitely a reason it is priced lower. The handle on this one twists on and constantly comes undone when you throw, and it does not launch nearly as well. I would not order this product again.
