An hour’s ferry ride from Hong Kong, on the banks of the Pearl River in China, lies Macau—a modern, cosmopolitan city with an unexpected history. For centuries, Macau was one of the world’s greatest trading ports: a Portuguese outpost and crossroads along the spice route, where travelers from Europe, Southeast Asia, South Asia, and mainland China traded resources, culture, and food. The Adventures of Fat Rice is the story of how two Chicago chefs discovered and fell in love with this fascinating and, at least until now, unheralded cuisine.
With dishes like Minchi (a classic Macanese meat hash), Po Kok Gai (a Portuguese-influenced chicken curry with chouriço and olives), and Arroz Gordo (if paella and fried rice had a baby), now you, too, can bring the eclectic and wonderfully unique—yet enticingly familiar—flavors of Macau into your own kitchen.

$34.48 for 1 ounce packs of 6. Not worth it! Exorbitant prices!
Flavor Name: Herb Medley, Size: 1.1 Ounce (Count of 6)
$34.48 for 6 packs 1ounce each! That’s exorbitant for what it is. Not worth it!

Way too “lekker” tasty
Being from South Africa I’m skeptical on US made dried meat products - BUT these are the real thing.
Difficult not to eat the entire pack in one session. Major discipline required to put it down.
Great products.

Very satisfied!
Heard about Biltong from one of the youtubers I watch, and wanted to try it. This is delicious, much more so than your regular beef jerky. I have tried other brands, but this one is by far my favorite for the flavor and texture.

Quality biltong
Biltong is the beef jerky i grew up eating… so nothing else really compares. These people do a bang up job. Expensive but worth it as a treat or a gift for someone who likes quality jerky without all the extra preservatives.

Arrived opened/tampered
My pack arrived late AND was already opened. Considering this is food, I'm not sure if this is even safe to eat.
A real shame since I was really looking forward to having some good biltong.
