Die handbemalte Ananasdose mit Glanzplatinstaffage ist eine moderne Hommage an die prachtvollen Fruchtdosen des 18. Jahrhunderts.

Als Symbol für Exotik und Gastfreundschaft war die Ananas schon in der Barockzeit ein Ausdruck von Eleganz und Luxus – ein Anspruch, den MEISSEN in zeitgenössischer Form fortführt.

Für die Neuinterpretation entwarf Otto Drögsler, Kreativdirektor der Meissener Manufaktur, einen grafisch anmutenden Platindekor, der sich wie ein metallisch schimmerndes Relief über die weißen Porzellanschuppen legt. Dieses handbemalte Layering kontrastiert die organische Struktur der historischen Form und verleiht ihr zugleich eine klare, moderne Ausstrahlung.

Die Verbindung von kühlem Metallglanz und warmer Porzellanhaptik schafft ein faszinierendes Spannungsfeld zwischen Tradition und Gegenwart. Als Teil der Serie „Orangerie“ wird die Ananasdose zum Solitär für moderne Interieurs oder zum Mittelpunkt stilvoller Ensembles.
