The compact XONE:K2 from Allen & Heath is a universal MIDI controller designed for professional DJs. Whether you’re experimenting in a home studio or out gigging on tour, the XONE:K2 gives you the versatility you want and the quality your sound deserves.

The XONE:K2 provides tons of personalization to the controls so you can set it up how you best perform. This includes 52 hardware controls—including 12 analog and 6 endless rotary encoders with push switch, 4 linear faders, and 30 backlit performance switches. The result is up to 171 MIDI control commands across 3 layers.

Use the mixer’s Latching Layers system to assign controls to multiple layers—giving one physical control up to 3 functions. Mix and match your controls using quick, simple mapping that is easy to set up and effortless to control. Keep tabs on your playing with the tricolor illuminated switches, which automatically change as you toggle through layers.

Achieve ultimate flexibility with your DJ setup using the XONE:K2’s internal 4-channel (2 stereo) 48kHz soundcard. This card makes it easy to control your favorite DJ software, such as Ableton, Virtual DJ, MixVibes, Mixx, or Traktor Pro. This controller can also be used to adjust lights and VJ software.

Connect headphones, headphones and PA system, or an external DJ mixer. You can also easily scale your setup using Allen & Heath’s X:LINK protocol to connect 2 or more K2s for expanded control capability. Using a standard RJ45 connector, X:LINK distributes power and data between XONE series gear and is compatible with the XONE:DB4 and DB2, enabling you to expand MIDI data without adding USB ports. (All external gear sold separately.)

The XONE:K2 sports a slim-line chassis, soft-touch controls, and a minimalistic layout. It’s designed to withstand the rigors of touring without compromising audio quality. The XONE:K2 also comes with a black padded case for secure transport and safe storage, which can also be used as a stand to bring the K2 up to the same height as most pro DJ mixers.
