The name Angel’s Share draws inspiration from the world of winemaking — a term that refers to the small portion of wine that evaporates during aging, believed to be the “share” the angels take as they watch over and bless the barrels.
Following the devastating 2012 warehouse fire that claimed decades of Fuente’s most precious aged tobacco, Carlito Fuente found poetic meaning in the idea that perhaps the angels, too, had taken their share. Thus, the Opus X Angel’s Share was born — a tribute to loss, legacy, and the enduring spirit of creation.
