With raspberry seed oil, carrot oil, unrefined extra virgin coconut oil, cocoa butter, aloe vera butter, shea butter, wheatgerm oil, jojoba oil, beeswax, vitamin E. Fragranced with lavender, peppermint and a drop of vanilla -this combination is designed to cool, heavily moisturise and relieve the skin from the suns effects.

UVA Rays penetrate the lower layers of the skin which can cause ageing and damage.

• Cool Shade  contains natural non-nano zinc oxide, this doesn't absorb into the skin and protects against UVA rays -these rays penetrate deep into the skin causing ageing, wrinkles, sun spots and skin cell damage.

Our Opinion on Blocking the Sun's Rays

*Your top layer of skin produces vitamin D when exposed to sunlight, specifically UVB rays, which convert a precursor in the skin into Vitamin D3.

*It is estimated that 90% of the daily body requirements are met by sunlight exposure to your top layer of skin.

*Sunscreen effectively blocks UVB rays, reducing vitamin D production.

*Spending an hour or two in the early morning or late afternoon sun is healthy for your body and spirit, and gives you the so important natural vitamin D.

BE AWARE! Too Much Sunshine Can Damage Your Skin

Avoid the Midday Sun: UV rays are strongest between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM; seek shade during these hours.

Cover Up: Wear a wide-brimmed hat, wraparound sunglasses with UV protection, and loose, tightly woven clothing.

Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water to prevent sunstroke and dehydration

The First Days: On a sunny holiday, keep lightly covered, wear a light t-shirt when in the sea or pool. The sun still penetrates light clothing so you won't miss out on a tan.

Storage: Keep at room temperature, avoid direct sunlight.

Directions

Depending on your skin type and sun tolerance, use one of the following:

1. Apply as a moisturiser before using your regular sunscreen/lotion
2. Apply exclusively as a suncream every 40-50 minutes. In general, there is a waterproof element, but it is advisable to re-apply after swimming, or playing in the sand.
3. Perfect to use once you have started to tan- it will protect against UVA rays and will prolong your colour
