La beauté des tuques WUF est de vous donner la possibilité d'avoir la même tuque en version Printemps/Automne et en version Hivernale. Seulement l'épaisseur de la tuque diffère, selon vos besoins.

Tuque Printemps/Automne : Composée de polyester/coton et contient une doublure fait de micro-polar, qui la rend extensible, douce et confortable (jusqu'à -5 ou -10 degrés), parfaite pour le printemps/automne ou pour pratiquer une activité physique extérieure l'hiver. Cette doublure respire et laisse un meilleur confort quant à la transpiration quand nous sommes en mouvement.

Tuque Hiver : Composée de polyester/coton et d'une doublure en polar épaisse. Si confortable que vous ne voudrez plus l'enlever. Vous serez au chaud cet hiver, même par les grands froids québécois! (-25 degrés).  Les enfants peuvent jouer dehors plusieurs heures, cette tuque est efficace. Cette doublure est très résistante au froid et l'empêche de pénétrer. Combinez-la avec un cache-cou WUF pour un confort optimal.

Le pompon de fourrure véritable provient de la fourrure du raton laveur. Notre fourrure est recyclée et teint pour lui donner brillance et douceur. Le pompon est muni d'un bouton-pression qui permet facilement d'enlever et de remettre le pompon sur la tuque, pour ainsi faciliter le lavage. À noter que chaque pompon est différent puisque chaque animal a une fourrure unique, il se peut que les couleurs et longueur des poils diffèrent d'un pompon à l'autre, selon la fourrure recyclée que nous avons.

The beauty of WUF hats is that they give you the possibility of having the same hat in the Spring / Autumn version and in the Winter version. Only the thickness of the toque differs, depending on your needs.

Spring / Fall : Composed of polyester / cotton and contains a lining made of micro-fleece, which makes it stretchy, soft and comfortable (up to -5 or -10 degrees), perfect for spring / autumn or to practice an outdoor physical activity in winter. This lining breathes and leaves better comfort in terms of perspiration when we are on the move.

Winter : Made of polyester / cotton and a thick fleece lining. So comfortable you won't want to take it off. You will be warm this winter, even in very cold Quebec! (-25 degrees). Children can play outside for several hours, this toque is effective. This liner is very resistant to cold and prevents it from penetrating. Combine it with a WUF neck warmer for optimal comfort.


The real fur pom pom comes from the raccoon fur. Our fur is recycled and dyed to give it shine and softness. The pom pom has a snap button that makes it easy to remove and put the pom back on the beanie, making washing easier. Note that each pompom is different since each animal has a unique fur, the colors and length of the hairs may differ from one pompom to another.

They started training young men at the age of seven with exercises that made their weapons an extension of their body. This let them weild weapons with more precision than their enemies. This is just one of the fun facts found in this book about Sparta. As with many nations which put their focus on the strength of the military forces Sparta was constantly at war. They were suspicious of the motives of other city states and often attacked before they could be attacked. We can learn much by learning of the Greeks and their relationships with each other, their alliance systems and their causes of wars. Comparing national alliance systems and causes of wars today with those of the Greeks we can learn many lessons. We can see things they could have done to prevent the carnage and and use it to our advantage. This book also gives a glimpse into the living conditions of Sparta. It explains the social structure and the government structure of Sparta. It tells of the role of women in the Spartan culture. Many times we use the term Spartan to describe a minimalist life style. This book describes the living conditions of the Spartans showing where that term originated. All of the above and much more is well described in this book about the ancient city of Sparta. As a former history teacher I highly recommended this book to everyone. This should be available to all. It is a must read

Unfortunately, the pacing was too slow for me. At times, it felt like it was dragging on and even got repetitive. The book could have been shorter and had a greater impact.

Where the Wildflowers Grow and this book was such an emotional journey. What started as a survival story slowly turned into a story about healing, identity, forgiveness, and learning how to live again after trauma. And when the truth finally came out, the consequences were emotional and impactful instead of feeling overly dramatic.
