Make your tree extra special this year with some handmade Christmas decorations made by you! 🎄
In this workshop you’ll make a set of four star decorations in the colour and pattern of your choice, using the eco-friendly material called Jesmonite. During this hands-on class, you'll learn how to mix and cast Jesmonite into silicone moulds, allowing you to create your very own unique terrazzo decorations. Don't worry if you're new to this craft, Debbie will guide you through every step of the process and offer on-hand help whenever you need it. Using a range of pigments, you'll get to create your own bespoke base colour for your star decorations, while the terrazzo chips will be pre-made. Once your star decorations are cast, you'll learn the techniques of sanding and polishing to reveal the intricate terrazzo design that you've created. Finally, you will seal your star decorations so they’re ready to take home.
Along with making fabulous decorations for your tree, you could also give them away as thoughtful gifts for any lucky friends or family, or even affix them to the front of greetings cards to make them stand out even more. Whatever you use them for, you'll love the soothing process of creating these super stars.

All of our workshops are held in the workshop studio upstairs at From Loft to Loved, 11 The Square, Sedgefield TS21 2BN.
Cancellation Policy
Payment for workshops must be made in full at the time of booking. If you need to cancel your booking for any reason please contact us as soon as possible, cancellation fees apply:
- Over 21 days before the workshop date - full refund given or the opportunity to book another date
- Between 7 and 21 days before the workshop date – no refund given, however you will have the opportunity to book another date
- Less than 7 days before the workshop date - no refund given and no opportunity to book another date
Any refund due will be paid to the original payee only and by the original payment method.
If you do not turn up for your workshop, you will not be eligible for a refund nor will you be eligible to move your booking to an alternative date.
In the unlikely event that a workshop has to be cancelled by From Loft to Loved, you will be offered the choice of a full refund or the opportunity to book onto an alternative workshop. You will be given as much notice as possible if a workshop has to be cancelled.
