Sodium-Free Salt Alternative - 250g jar or 1kg

This is a convenient substitute for table salt as it has all the flavour without the sodium and includes a handy storage jar, so you are all sorted. Great for baking or seasoning while cooking; actually anywhere you'd use regular table salt. This is a pure salt alternative because it's based on potassium (not sodium) and it:

  • Flows, just like salt - without the flow agents
  • Can be used just like salt - without any fillers.
  • Many folks can't taste any difference to regular salt
  • and is not sodium based

How does ours compare to other brands?
NoSalt: Contains potassium chloride, potassium bitartrate, adipic acid, mineral oil, fumaric acid, and silicon dioxide.
Nu-Salt: Contains potassium chloride, cream of tartar (potassium bitartrate), and silicate (a flow agent).
Morton Salt Substitute actually contains salt (sodium) as well as potassium chloride, so it's not a sodium free product.

Only ours is the pure, 100% active ingredient - no fillers, so acids, no oils or fillers or flow agents. 100% the real deal.

Why reduce sodium?
For some, the sodium in salt is detrimental to their high blood pressure and cardiovascular health and doctors are advising to lower sodium to lower the risks.
Having a no sodium alternative to salt means people can avoid going without salt, and still get enjoyment from tasty food.

We believe in supporting people's health endeavours, inclusivity through food options and that people thrive better when they aren't restricted by their food choices or struggle with having to change really hard habits to break.

So how does it taste?
Our taste testers couldn't tell the difference in taste between this and regular table salt and said that they ended up using less to get the same taste as salt - so that's a bonus!
Ingredients: Potassium Chloride
Macros: It's zero carb for those tracking such things.

What body maintenance functions does taking Potassium help?
Potassium is an essential mineral that helps with normal whole-body and cellular fluid levels, balancing pH acid-base levels. Taking it allows for proper muscle contraction, a healthy heart function and transmission of nerve impulses.

How much is enough?
The recommended serving size is 1/8th of a teaspoon with food so we suggest using the small teaspoon measures. Aside from being kinda cute, they help you to achieve consistency with the amounts being used in your recipe making. Five Stainless Steel measuring spoons in these sizes:

  • TAD 1/4 tsp
  • DASH 1/8 tsp (recommended serving size = 300mg potassium)
  • PINCH 1/16 tsp
  • SMIDGEN 1/32 tsp
  • DROP 1/64 tsp

  • Note: to get 1000mg of pure potassium then you'll need 1.92g of this product.

Manufacturer's recommendations about usage:
Consult physician if pregnant/nursing, taking any medications (especially those that may affect kidney function or blood potassium levels), or have a medical condition (especially heart/kidney condition or diabetes).

Storage: Store in a cool dry place. Avoid using the open container over steam.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.
