NSP LONGBOARD E+

The Longboard E+ is NSP’s most durable longboard.  These shapes are great for customers wanting a board that holds up to the day-to-day situations at surf schools and rental venues.  The colorway is preset with the length of each surfboard.  Unfortunately, no custom colors or color changes possible.

One of the most popular rental boards in the world, as it will outlive conventionally built boards with ease. Similar to the Longboard Elements series of surfboards, the E+ construction features an important key difference, which is the ballistic top sheet that strengthens and prevents major pressure dings. Therefore, the E+ boards are even more durable and slightly heavier than the Elements series.

Because of their size, great floatation, and glide, Longboards make tiny 1-2 foot surf sessions much more fun and make great boards for all-year-round conditions.

Longboard E+ design

These longboards are considerably studier than other NSP surfboard constructions, ready to take the abuse from bigger waves, countless rides, bumpy transport, and the occasional drop. Riders looking for a resilient longboard surfboard to improve their skills on are well-served with a longboard E+ as well:

• Sharp rails in the tail, modern performance rocker combined with mellow V bottom, blended with a subtle double concave.
• New graphic updates for retailers, schools, and rental centers to easily distinguish between board sizes.

Longboard E+ fin setup

The smaller E+ longboards have a regular 2 +1 setup with two FTU boxes (all compatible with Futures Fins) and two side fins plus the longer center fin. The 10-foot and 11-foot versions of the Longboard E+ come with single-fin configuration only.

    Seems durable - but the scent is not the best

    I don't know if I'd call the scent of this "bacon," more like rubber with a hint of bacon. It's very strong. I gave my dog one of the balls & put one in a cabinet where I keep his treats & a few other unrelated odds & ends. I now hold my breath when I open that cabinet b/c good lord, the smell. I'm tempted to just give that one to the dog too, just because it'll air out eventually & then everything else in that cabinet won't smell bad. My dog feels so-so about it. He'll briefly chase after it & chew on it, but loses interest in it pretty fast. My rather hyperactive cat also plays with it from time to time, as he seems to have more interest in most dog toys than the dog these days, so there's that. (Then again, he thinks a wide variety of random items around the house are loads of fun to toss about, so it's possible his opinion is to be taken with a grain of salt. Between the brief periods of one of these balls being chewed on & clawed at, it's stayed completely intact. I think if you have a dog who simply likes to play fetch or chew on rubber balls in general, this one would stand up to the task. But if you're expecting it to be greeted with the enthusiasm as a bacon grease covered ball might be - I'd adjust your expectations.
