Lash caps (P/N 00-4006-0) are required for all stainless steel valve applications — sold separately. 12mm long-reach spark plugs must be used in place of stock Bosch plugs.

CONFIRMED: VW Type 1 dual-port performance builds running 90.5mm or 92mm bore — 1776cc and 1835cc. Beetle, Bus, Karmann Ghia, Type 3, Thing. NOT CONFIRMED: stock 85.5mm or 94mm bore (use the matching-bore GTV-2 head), single-port engines, Type 4 engines.
