Bold, full-bodied, and deeply satisfying with a rich, malty character and a lasting finish. Naturally higher in caffeine than most black teas - the genuine morning tea for those who need their cup to do some work. Best with milk, which softens the intensity without losing the flavour. Strong enough to cut through completely and still have character left over.

How to brew the perfect cup
  1. Use freshly boiled water, not left to cool.
  2. Steep for 4 to 5 minutes to let the full Assam character develop.
  3. Add milk. This tea is built for it.
  4. Don't over-steep - beyond 5 minutes it will turn bitter.

I have been searching for my ultimate, every day mascara for at least 10 years & I actually tried this one about 4 or 5 years ago (not in this shade though) and I remember it being a strong like at the time but not “the one”. I do wish the brush was different, or had longer bristles at least, but not enough to dock a star over. It didn’t add a ton of volume, but enough to be noticeable and I actually prefer that because I have sensory issues with my eyes and that is why I sadly can’t do falsies.
