24g whey protein with 2g Velositol and DigeZyme support

ProWhey MAX isn't your basic whey. It's a smart protein mix focused on three things: giving you 24 grams of whey protein, ramping up how your body builds muscle from it, and making it easy to digest so you can use it daily. That's key because the best protein is one that doesn't upset your stomach and actually helps more than just adding grams.

The base is cross flow micro-filtrated whey protein concentrate (WPC80) mixed with whey protein isolate (WPI90), delivering 24 grams of full protein per scoop. Whey is top for muscle building because it's packed with essential amino acids and high in leucine, which kicks off the muscle repair process after workouts. A 24-gram scoop is right in the sweet spot for sparking muscle growth after training, especially for active adults.

What sets ProWhey MAX apart is the full 2-gram dose of Velositol. This amylopectin-chromium complex boosts your body's muscle-building response to the protein. It includes 1,000 mcg of chromium from histidinate and picolinate, which helps with glucose and nutrient use. Basically, Velositol makes the whey work harder for muscle gains. It's not junk—it's the main upgrade here.

DigeZyme at 100 mg is a solid add. This enzyme blend has alpha-amylase, lactase, cellulase, protease, and lipase. Protease breaks down protein, lactase handles milk sugar, and the rest make everything digest smoother.

PerformaX ProWhey MAX by PerformaX contains 116mg Calcium, a standard dose for muscle protein synthesis.

Key Highlights

  • 24 grams of complete whey protein per scoop — this is your go-to dose for muscle recovery right away. Whey has tons of essential amino acids and is loaded with leucine, making it awesome for kickstarting muscle repair after hitting the gym.
  • 2 grams of Velositol — this full dose makes ProWhey MAX better than regular whey. It's an amylopectin-chromium mix that boosts how your body builds muscle from the protein, giving you a real edge.
  • 1,000 mcg chromium from chromium histidinate and picolinate — this is a good amount for helping with glucose and nutrient handling. It fits right in with Velositol to make the protein more effective.
  • 100 mg DigeZyme multi-enzyme complex — this helps a lot in a whey shake. Protease breaks down protein, lactase deals with milk sugar, and the whole mix makes it easier on your gut if basic whey bothers you.
  • WPC80 plus WPI90 protein blend — combining whey concentrate and isolate gives you solid amino acids with a nice texture that's not just straight isolate.
  • Cross flow micro-filtrated whey concentrate — this method keeps the protein quality high while cutting out extras. It's a sign of better whey than cheap stuff.
  • Whey isolate included — this is the leaner part, with less lactose and fat than concentrate. It boosts the blend's quality and helps with smoother digestion.
  • Digestive support matched to the formula — DigeZyme fits because this has dairy protein, carbs, and fats. Alpha-amylase, lactase, cellulase, protease, and lipase cover a lot instead of just one enzyme.

PerformaX ProWhey MAX by PerformaX contains 116mg Calcium, a standard dose for muscle protein synthesis.

Who Is This For?

  • Bodybuilders building muscle who know recovery is huge. 24 grams of whey is a solid post-gym dose, and 2 grams of Velositol boosts the muscle signal from it.
  • Lifters wanting whey that's easy on the stomach vs heavy concentrates. DigeZyme's enzymes like protease, lactase, lipase, amylase, and cellulase make it digest cleaner and help you use it daily.
  • Athletes hitting the gym 4-6 days who need reliable protein. It's everyday practical with extras like Velositol and enzymes over basic 24-gram whey.
  • Strength folks meeting calories but wanting better protein use. Velositol's chromium helps nutrient handling and amps the protein's muscle effect.
  • Busy people training around work who need fast, easy recovery. One scoop gives whey plus enzymes for quick nutrition when meals aren't happening.
  • Intermediate users done with weak proteins that just list grams. ProWhey MAX adds a full 2-gram Velositol for real muscle support.

How to Use

Mix one scoop with 8-12 ounces of cold water in a shaker after gym or when you need protein. For creamier, use more liquid or milk, but it adds calories and slows digestion. Time it post-workout for fast whey benefits on muscle repair. If dairy-sensitive, try half first—DigeZyme helps but test it. Take the full scoop for Velositol's boost, not partials. Pairs great with creatine, carb powders, and meals high in protein. Use daily—no cycling. Keep it sealed in a cool, dry spot for best taste and scoop.

What to Expect

First 0-10 minutes: you feel the mix, texture, and if it's easy on your gut. DigeZyme helps it go down smoother than basic whey, especially if lactose bugs you. 10-60 minutes: no energy rush—it's recovery focused—so it's about smooth feel and knowing you got 24 grams in. First week: easier to stick with protein, less skipping. Days 7-14: shines if your old shake caused issues. Weeks 2-4: steady use means better protein habits, good digestion, and Velositol's muscle support adding up. Not flashy, but it delivers better results through smart design.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much protein does ProWhey MAX provide per scoop?

Each one-scoop serving yields 24 grams of complete protein from a blend of whey protein concentrate and whey protein isolate. That puts it in the evidence-based range commonly used for post-workout muscle protein synthesis in most lifters.

What makes ProWhey MAX different from a regular whey protein?

The biggest difference is 2 grams of Velositol, an amylopectin-chromium complex designed to amplify the anabolic response to the protein serving. It also includes 100 mg DigeZyme, a multi-enzyme complex that supports digestion and makes the shake easier to tolerate consistently.

Is the 2-gram Velositol dose significant?

Yes. Two grams is the branded inclusion that gives this product its main functional edge over basic whey powders. It is included specifically to make the protein serving work harder from a muscle-building signaling standpoint rather than simply adding more grams of protein.

Does ProWhey MAX contain digestive enzymes?

Yes. It includes 100 mg of DigeZyme, providing alpha-amylase, lactase, cellulase, protease, and lipase. In a whey formula, that matters because protease and lactase can help reduce the bloating and heaviness some users experience with dairy-based proteins.

Is this whey isolate or whey concentrate?

It uses both. The formula contains cross flow micro-filtrated whey protein concentrate (WPC80) and whey protein isolate (WPI90), but the exact ratio between the two is not disclosed on the verified data provided.

When should I take ProWhey MAX?

The most practical time is after training, when a fast-digesting whey protein is especially useful. It also works well between meals whenever your whole-food protein intake is falling short.

Can I stack ProWhey MAX with creatine?

Absolutely. This formula does not include creatine, so adding 3-5 grams of creatine monohydrate daily is a logical stack. Whey supports muscle protein synthesis, while creatine supports phosphocreatine replenishment and high-intensity performance.

Is ProWhey MAX good for people with sensitive digestion?

It is better positioned than many standard whey blends because it includes DigeZyme, including lactase and protease. That said, it is still a dairy-based whey product, so highly sensitive users should start with a half scoop to assess tolerance.

How much chromium is in ProWhey MAX?

Each serving provides 1,000 mcg chromium from chromium histidinate and picolinate as part of the 2-gram Velositol complex. That is a meaningful inclusion and part of the product’s nutrient-partitioning and anabolic-support strategy.

Is ProWhey MAX fully transparent?

Partially. The formula clearly discloses 24 grams of protein yield, 2 grams Velositol, 1,000 mcg chromium, and 100 mg DigeZyme. However, the exact gram split between whey concentrate and whey isolate is not disclosed.

5 beautiful stars for this masterpiece
-he falls first -ptsd/mental health rep -broken golden boy mmc -black cat fmc -found family -college hockey 5 beautiful stars for this masterpiece! i’m in awe that this is a debut novel — peyton’s story is the perfect combination of angst, swoon, pain, & love. her writing instantly captures you & feels like it’s wrapping you in the biggest, coziest hug. rhys is the definition of a walking green flag (literally though this man can do no wrong) after an intense injury the previous season, rhys is trying to feel at home again on the ice but is struggling with ptsd & panic attacks. he’s very quiet about what he’s going through which leads to him trying to resolve everything on his own. i loved rhys’ character development in this one. seeing him open up first to sadie and then to his family & friends was a huge step. the scene with him & his dad actually had me bawling. rhys has the biggest heart, he loves unconditionally, and is such a teddy bear. my favorite thing about him was how easy it was for him to give his love not just to sadie but to her brothers as well. rhys is the kind of person who will be there for you no matter what, even if you push him away he never backs down. i thought peyton’s representation of ptsd/mental health was beautifully written my sadie baby. she is EVERYTHING. caring for her brothers while trying to maintain her figure skating scholarship, grades, and two jobs was not easy. but she did it all by herself. her love for her brothers is so unconditional. i love how real these characters feel and how we got to see sadie both mentally & physically exhausted. what she was doing isn’t easy and it definitely took its toll on her but seeing her in those stages of feeling defeated or like nothing could go right made her feel so real and like someone you could connect with. sadie is super protective and she’s not afraid to put up a fight if you wrong the ones she loves. we get to see sadie in all her glory — happy, sad, doubtful, defeated, anxious, loving, confident, feisty, and so much more. it’s what makes her real. my favorite thing about sadie was getting to see her fall in love and accept the love she deserves from those around her rhys & sadie together is a twin flame burning the brightest shade. after sadie helps rhys through a panic attack (and introduces him to the best taste music) they instantly have a connection. rhys sees her and feels safety & comfort. sadie instantly tries to keep her space since she has so much on her plate and thinks she doesn’t deserve someone like him. but what they share is undeniable and soon they start hanging out more as friends until the tension and chemistry shared between them explodes. they both help each other in so many different ways. they balance and lean on one another. the are golden and perfect and indescribably in love. sadie helps rhys feel like it’s okay not to be perfect all the time & rhys helps show sadie she deserves to be loved and that it’s okay to accept help. seeing them fall in love was so beautiful & i’m sad i’ll never be able to experience that for the first time again. they are GOLDEN *also shoutout to rhys’ parents for being the absolute best* this book is a masterpiece! it gives boys of tommen found family vibes along with the perfect combination of sports romance & angst. everyone needs to stop what they’re doing and read this book right now! i don’t even know who book 2 is about but all i know is that i can’t wait to go back to this world and these characters because i’m seriously so in love with them. peyton, i’m in awe of you & so so proud. this is easily in my top 10 books of the year. i can’t wait to see what’s coming next and i feel so lucky that i get to experience your writing journey🧡 songs: peace, daylight, & you are in love

A sports romance debut that tugs on heartstrings!
Format: Kindle
“Unsteady” follows hockey captain Rhys Koteskiy and spitfire figure skater Sadie Brown after they enter a purely physical relationship to help them heal from their respective traumas. Their arrangement is meant to be temporary, but the more time they spend together, the harder they begin to fall. I had been wanting to read this book for quite some time and was not expecting it to get me all up in my feels! Both characters have their own struggles that the other comforts them through. At the novel’s start, Rhys is recovering from a traumatic brain injury he suffered on the ice. I appreciated how seriously Sadie took Rhys’ situation and helped him through his panic attacks (mainly with music) while fighting her own demons. Despite the walls she puts up to distance herself from him, Rhys sees through her anger. He stole my heart with how in tune he became to Sadie’s needs and the way he stepped in to take care of her and her brothers after he learned of their living situation. The pining and protectiveness had me swooning. While the friends with benefits trope isn’t my favorite, I adored watching their relationship transform from one of shared trauma to shared love. Their opposite personalities truly complement each other perfectly!

AMAZING Debut Hockey Romance!
T R O P E S 🏒 College Hockey/Figure Skating Romance 🏒 Cinnamon Roll MMC/Black Cat FMC 🏒 He Falls First 🏒 Friends to Friends With Benefits to Lovers 🏒 Found Family 🏒 Mental Health Rep R E V I E W I’m sorry. Excuse me. WHAT? How is this Peyton’s debut novel?! This book had NO BUSINESS being this good. IMMEDIATELY it is in the top 5 books I’ve read this year, and I’ve read nearly 125 books. I was blown away by how good this was and cannot recommend it enough. This book follows Sadie, a figure skater who has a hard home life but is determined to succeed this year, and Rhys, the captain of the hockey team who took a hard hit in last year’s Frozen Four and is now struggling with getting back on the ice. These two are some of the BEST MCs I’ve read in a while! Sadie has so much going on, between her skating career, working 3 jobs, trying to get custody of her two younger brothers from their alcoholic dad, and school in general, this girl is stretched thin, but she is a power house - small but mighty. I loved her spitfire character! She is so guarded, but understandably so. I loved seeing her icy exterior melt for Rhys. And RHYS. I think he might be my favorite Rhys to date 👀 . He is the perfect Cinnamon Roll, but he’s also going through PTSD from a terrible hit and struggling. He becomes so obsessed with her and honestly, I’m a little jealous. (Let’s not forget about the mouth on this man though 🥵 .) I LOVED them as a pair and the angst and tension between them was spectacular! I love how they pushed each other and how well they matched. The spice between them was perfection as well! This was such a good blend of character development, plot, and spice. I also have to discuss the amazing side characters. First of all, Sadie’s brothers are the stars of this show. Liam was the cutest thing on this planet and I just wanted to give Oliver a hug (but won’t because he doesn’t want to be touched). The way Rhys interacts with them and the whole storyline with them made me bawl. It was soooo good. Then we have Rhys’ family! His parents are magnificent and I need to know more about their story! And lastly, we cannot forget Rhys’ team. I cannot wait for more books about each and every one of them. They were all introduced so well and I KNOW there are going to be some fantastic stories told about them. I’m going to need this to be a series with all of the hockey teammates (Toren and Bennett both have me eyeing them up and I needed their books YESTERDAY). I’m also going to need a prequel novel about Rhys’ parents AND a next gen spinoff with Sadie’s younger brothers. This book is going to be a trophy I buy for my shelf so I can reread it and I will definitely be reading anything and everything Peyton writes in the future! The mental health rep in this book was chefs kiss. We saw them both struggling with their thoughts and emotions, saw them using each other for comfort, and saw them both getting true help. I loved that Rhys recognized he was using her as a crutch and sought therapy. We need more mental health rep that is done like this! Honestly, I cannot recommend this book enough. It had me laughing, blushing, and full on crying so many times. There was so much emotion, care, and love packed into this book. BRAVO Peyton on writing such a magnificent debut novel!

Love. Such a beautiful story!
Format: Kindle
Rhys and Sadie Gray meet at a point in their lives where they really need each other. Their initial impressions of each other are not that great and they start off on the wrong skates. These two are both struggling with their own issues and each carries their own stress differently. Rhys struggles with the aftermath of a traumatic injury while playing hockey. Sadie struggles with the weight of responsibility. Their story is not unique, but in this genre it's the first time I've read a story like this and it did not disappoint. It's such a beautiful story about love and staying steadfast in your conviction to stand by the person you love even when they don't think they deserve it and push back. The love Rhys has is unmatched and it reminded me of Johnny from Boys of Tommen. The author did an incredible job and I can't wait to read more from her.
