Scarce WWII German RMBO “Eastern Peoples” Summer Tunic-This is a scarcely encountered tunic, produced in light tan cotton that is excellent, with extremely minor discoloration and a few small red stains. There are four patch type pockets, pleated at the breast and plain at the hips, with straight flaps. All buttons are in the RMBO style, similar to diplomatic, and are silver finished aluminum with a zinc insert. There is a four button closure. The left sleeve has a machine applied, machine woven RMBO eagle in off white over brown. Very nice! The interior is unlined. There is a slot with a strap and a ring for an edged weapon on the left side. The right side closure seam is stamped with maker info, size info and the date, 1944. It is a size medium. Very nice and scarce!
