Maximum drag has been increased by 50% over its predecessor the Spectrum Max giving you eight pounds at the arbor in the 7/8 size, 15 pounds in the 9/10 size, and a remarkable 17 pounds at the arbor in the 11/12 size. For saltwater anglers fishing heavy tippets who need to stop big fish fast without sacrificing fingers to a fast spinning spool this increased drag power is a game changer. The beefed up O-rings and drag plates deliver added durability, consistency, and reliability through the longest and most punishing fights the flats can throw at you.
Battles on the saltwater flats are exercises in nuance and chaos and the Enforcer is built to handle both. Larger drag discs better disperse pressure and maintain consistency throughout the fight by stabilizing inherent stopping strength. The all new reel foot design with radiused corners prevents abrasion to leaders wrapped around the reel foot for storage and eliminates the chaos of line wrapping around the foot during the initial hookup. Wrapped in a burlier and more rigid cold forged aluminum frame the Enforcer stands up to the drops, knocks, and beatdowns that frequently occur in saltwater fishing situations season after season.
