This Audi 3.0T TFSI Power Kit offers a complete all-inclusive power upgrade by combining IE's top-of-the-line performance hardware with the matching IE motorsport-inspired software tunes. You will enjoy the track-ready performance while retaining factory comfort and reliability. At the core of this kit is the IE Powerlink cable, providing an easy interface to upload your new tune and maximize the performance of your 3.0T engine. Boost is increased with a larger-diameter crank pulley modification, when combined with IE software they release a true monster hidden in your bay.

IE's dual pulley tune includes 91, 93, 100, and 104 octanes along with a specialty E40 (pump plus E85 mixed) blend. A heat exchanger is required for this modification. If you intend to use the E40 blend, a high-pressure fuel pump upgrade is also required. 

The IE Stage 2 Dual Pulley Tune offers you tons of power potential on multiple octanes options including support for E40. The S4 B8/B8.5 factory fuel system cannot safely support the amount of fuel needed for full E85 even with an HPFP upgrade, however, it can support a maximum blend of ethanol to E40. E40 is an ethanol mix of E85 with regular pump 91/93 fuel (about 2/5ths E85 and 3/5ths 91/93 with E10 premium gas).

IE DSG Transmission Tune

Required for vehicles equipped with DSG, a great deal of sportiness is added to the tune while maintaining factory smoothness and drivability. More aggressive launches and faster shifts are guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Also, expect acceleration and 0-60 times to improve dramatically from a larger useable powerband provided by the higher shift points. The purchase of an IE DSG file grants you access to customization of launch points. With several launch points to choose from you can pick what works best for your setup!

IE 207mm Crank Pulley Upgrade

IE's 207mm crank pulley delivers a 3.2753 supercharger ratio similar to a traditional dual pulley setup that uses a combined smaller 57.5mm supercharger pulley with a larger 188mm crank pulley (3.2695 SC ratio). This pulley allows the use of a dual pulley ECU tune without the need to purchase multiple pulleys and press off/on a new supercharger pulley for a faster and easier installation process.

 

Additional Hardware Required

Additional cooling and installation hardware is required to run the IE Dual Pulley Kit.

This is our second purchase of this product. We had the first one for over ten years and we ended up breaking it(our fault). Immediately bought same one. This is a reliable machine. It goes right through thick weeds and rock hard dirt to edge a lawn or trench. Like I said our previous one lasted ten years and worked just as well in year ten never replaced the blade once. Nice Edger as long as the blade doesn't come loose -- and it will come loose, repeatedly!
Probably could've/should've rated this 2 stars yet it works well when it works. I purchased this edger to edge my drive and sidewalks and not for trenching. The edger arrived very quickly after I ordered it (I am not a Prime member so this was a nice surprise). Assembly was easy and straight-forward. The first use went smoothly and the edger performed flawlessly and provided clean, smooth edging. About 20 minutes into the second use I noticed that the edger was cutting and quickly determined that the blade was spinning freely -- fortunately the hex nut was still attached to the threaded shaft. I reviewed the manual that came with the edger, grabbed the correct sized socket and torque wrench. I removed the hex nut, the first washer, the blade and then the second washer. To install I followed the directions ensuring that the flats of the washer aligned with the flat on the shaft and tightened the hex nut to the specified 140 in-lbs. The edger worked well for about 10 minutes and the blade once again became loose. This time I replaced the original blade (which did not need to be replaced from a wear perspective) with a new B&D blade and new washers. Once again I followed the instructions and this time the edger performed flawlessly until about 5 minutes remaining in my edging when once again the blade came loose. my experience has most certainly been frustrating to say the least. one should not need to carry a socket and torque wrench with them and repeatedly need to tighten the blade. So, when the edger performs as intended it does an excellent job at edging; however I have no confidence that this edger will be able to perform as intended throughout repeated uses and more importantly has shown that it cannot complete my edging without requiring tightening the blade (which requires disassembly down to the second keyed washer). Potential buyers should be prepared for this experience and make your decision accordingly. Note: I tried contacting black and decker via twitter (@blackdeckerhome) and never received a response; I could not find a separate customer service/support twitter account. Trying to contact customer service via the phone these days is an exercise in patience to say the least.
