CURT 45408 Reducer Sleeve Set (3 to 2-1/2 2 Shanks, Pieces)

Adapting a heavy-duty 3 Inch receiver hitch to fit your 2-1/2 Inch and 2 Inch accessories is fast and simple with the CURT reducer sleeve set. The set can be used together to allow a 3 Inch receiver to accept a 2 Inch shank on various accessories, such as a ball mount, bike rack or cargo carrier. The set can also be used individually. The larger unit can be used to mount accessories with a 2-1/2 Inch shank on a 3 Inch receiver, and the smaller to be used in a 2-1/2 Inch receiver to accept accessories with a 2 Inch shank. Both reducer sleeves in the set are constructed from high-strength carbon steel and are finished in a rust-resistant carbide black powder coat finish. The weight ratings of the reducer sleeves are limited to the weight ratings of the hitch.

The CURT reducer sleeve set includes two reducer sleeves that adapt a 3" receiver tube opening to fit a 2-1/2" or 2" shank. The adapter sleeves install easily and are compatible with virtually any 3" hitch. The smaller sleeve can also be used in a 2-1/2" receiver tube opening, adapting it for a 2" shank. The gross trailer weight capacity and tongue weight capacity of this set are limited to the rating of the hitch. To finish off this reducer sleeve set, it comes with a highly durable carbide black powder coat finish, ensuring excellent rust, chip and UV resistance.
