Classic Goodtime Special™ Plectrum

A progressive tone projects from the patent pending Special tonering on this vintage stained Classic Goodtime Special Plectrum banjo. Lighter weight than a more expensive banjo with a bronze tone ring, this banjo is easier to manage when you travel and still has a Deering original patent pending Special steel tone ring for a bright and crisp sound. This is a quality banjo made in the USA of high grade wood with simple detailing so that it is affordable and provides the highest level of sound quality for a reasonable price. The top of the Goodtime plectrum line, you get the projection of the resonator, the bright ring of the tone ring and a easily playable banjo. A pickup can be installed as an optional upgrade. The rich brown stain, planetary tuners, and Deering peghead shape gives the classic look of a vintage banjo.
