Straight-up multi-creatine and glutamine mix, made for everyday use.

Bucked Up Buck Build is a no-stim creatine and glutamine combo that's all about easy daily use and mixing up ingredients instead of dumping a ton of one thing. The idea here is straightforward: pack in five creatine types, four glutamine types, BetaPure® betaine, and magnesium into a powder that backs up intense workouts, keeps cells hydrated, and helps with recovery after tough sessions. It's all out in the open on the label, which is huge in a world full of mystery blends, but those doses also show where it's strong and where it doesn't hit the usual standalone targets.

The creatine mix adds up to 2.5g per scoop: 900mg Creatine MagnaPower® magnesium creatine chelate, 900mg creatine citrate, 400mg di-creatine malate, 150mg creatine AKG, and 150mg creatine pyruvate. Creatine basically boosts your muscle's phosphocreatine levels so you can pump out ATP quicker during back-to-back hard efforts. In the gym, that means better sprints, stronger sets, and more volume as you go. The catch is the dose: most studies point to 3-5g daily of creatine monohydrate for best results. At 2.5g total, this is more like a partial hit than a full creatine plan. That said, Creatine MagnaPower® from Albion is a solid branded form that links creatine with magnesium, which helps with ATP and muscle function, and it's made to mix well without issues.

Magnesium comes in at 70mg from the magnesium creatine chelate. It's involved in over 300 body processes and key for handling ATP, breaking down sugars, energy production, and smooth muscle work. This is not a full magnes

Key Highlights

  • 2.5g total creatine from 5 types — Buck Build throws in Creatine MagnaPower®, creatine citrate, di-creatine malate, creatine AKG, and creatine pyruvate. It's about giving you a wide range of creatine for better ATP recharge and handling tough, repeated efforts instead of just one kind.
  • 900mg Creatine MagnaPower® — this branded magnesium creatine chelate from Albion teams creatine with magnesium, which is big for stabilizing ATP and keeping your nerves and muscles firing right. It's one of the stronger branded pieces here and gives the creatine side a real boost.
  • 70mg magnesium tied into the creatine — magnesium powers hundreds of reactions and is super important for ATP use. It's not your full daily amount, but it's a smart add in a workout formula.
  • 2.5g total glutamine mix — you get 2,150mg L-glutamine plus three other forms. This makes Buck Build as much about recovery as creatine, especially if you're pushing hard and need that extra help.
  • L-glutamine at 2,150mg leads the recovery — glutamine fuels your gut cells and immune system. It's key for keeping your gut solid and recovering from stress, not so much for packing on muscle if you're already healthy.
  • Varied glutamine forms — N-acetyl-L-glutamine, glutamine AKG, and L-alanyl-L-glutamine fill it out. They're there to mix up the glutamine delivery, even if the total is under what you'd see in a big standalone dose.
  • 200mg BetaPure® betaine anhydrous — BetaPure® is a real branded betaine from Finzelberg. It acts as an osmolyte and methyl donor to help with cell hydration and body processes, though this amount is below the 2.5g+ you see in most sports studies.
  • Label shows everything — every ingredient and dose is right there. In a market where blends hide weak creatine behind cool names, knowing exactly what's in it is a big win.

Who Is This For?

  • Evening lifters wanting stim-free support they can take daily without caffeine messing with sleep. Buck Build delivers creatine plus glutamine without locking you to a pre-workout time.
  • Intermediate hypertrophy guys who use pre-workouts but want to add creatine easy. The 2.5g mix fits with stuff that skips or skimps on creatine.
  • Folks who hate mystery blends and want clear labels. Everything's listed with doses, so you know your creatine, glutamine, betaine, and magnesium exactly.
  • Casual athletes getting back to regular training after a break. It's simple, no stims, easy on the gut — perfect for rebuilding habits with hydration, recovery, and power support.
  • People who get gut issues from big creatine doses and want to ease in with 2.5g multi-forms. Adding glutamine might make it smoother while you check how it sits.
  • Guys building a basic muscle stack with protein, pre, and hydration. Buck Build slides in by handling partial creatine and adding glutamine recovery.

How to Use

Scoop one serving every day, even off days, since creatine builds up in your muscles over time, not just when you time it perfect. Workout days, 30-60 minutes pre or right after works; no stims mean no rush to hit a window, just pick what you'll do consistently. Shake it in 8-16 oz water to mix the creatines and aminos smooth. If your stomach's picky, try half first for a bit, maybe with a snack, before going full. Food's not needed, but it can help if aminos or minerals bug you empty. Stacks great with pre, electrolytes, EAAs, and especially extra creatine monohydrate to hit 3-5g total daily. No need to cycle; no stims or stuff that wears out. Keep it sealed cool and dry, and make missing days rare.

What to Expect

First 0-10 minutes: basically nothing beyond the drink itself, no stims to feel. 10-40 minutes: still no buzz, which is spot on for a stim-free creatine-recovery mix. Days 1-7: it's about getting into the habit and stacking easy, especially around workouts. In the first couple weeks, the creatine starts helping with slow saturation, but at 2.5g it's gentler than a full 5g setup. Weeks 2-4: if creatine works for you, you'll notice steadier repeats and less fade in sets. Glutamine perks might show as better recovery handling and fewer off days under stress, not huge body changes.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much creatine is in Bucked Up Buck Build per serving?

Buck Build provides 2.5g total creatine per serving from five forms: 900mg Creatine MagnaPower®, 900mg creatine citrate, 400mg di-creatine malate, 150mg creatine AKG, and 150mg creatine pyruvate. That is a meaningful daily amount, but it is still below the standard 3-5g maintenance range most evidence-based standalone creatine protocols use.

Is Buck Build a good standalone creatine supplement?

It can work as a supportive daily creatine product, but it is not ideal if your goal is to fully replace a standard 3-5g creatine monohydrate routine. With 2.5g total creatine per serving, many serious lifters will want to stack additional creatine monohydrate to reach a full research-backed daily intake.

What does the glutamine in Buck Build actually do?

The formula includes 2.5g total glutamine forms, led by 2,150mg L-glutamine. Glutamine is most strongly supported for intestinal barrier integrity, immune support under stress, and nitrogen transport, not for directly increasing muscle mass in healthy athletes.

Does Buck Build contain caffeine or stimulants?

No. Buck Build is a stim-free formula, which makes it easy to use pre-workout, post-workout, at night, or alongside a separate pre-workout without worrying about caffeine overlap.

What is Creatine MagnaPower® and why is it in this formula?

Creatine MagnaPower® is a trademarked magnesium creatine chelate from Albion. It combines creatine with magnesium, which is relevant because magnesium helps stabilize ATP and supports neuromuscular and energy-related enzyme activity.

Is the betaine dose in Buck Build clinically dosed?

No. Buck Build includes 200mg BetaPure® betaine anhydrous, while most athletic performance research uses around 2.5-6g daily. It is a nice branded inclusion, but at this dose it functions more as supportive formula architecture than as a major ergogenic driver.

When should I take Buck Build?

Take it daily, including rest days. On workout days, either 30-60 minutes before training or immediately after training works well; consistency matters more than exact timing because the key ingredients work through repeat daily use.

Can I stack Buck Build with a pre-workout?

Yes. In fact, that is one of its best use cases because it is stim-free. It pairs especially well with pre-workouts that do not include a full 3-5g creatine dose or that skip recovery-oriented ingredients entirely.

Will I feel Buck Build right away?

Not in the way you would feel a caffeinated pre-workout. There is no stimulant onset here; the benefits are gradual and show up as better repeat-effort consistency and a more stable daily recovery routine over time.

Is Buck Build better for strength or recovery?

It leans more toward foundational recovery support with some strength-performance overlap. The creatine blend supports ATP regeneration for high-intensity work, but the glutamine matrix pushes the product toward daily recovery and stress-management utility rather than pure strength maximization.

Possible solution to seperation
Style: Restorative Protective Cream-1.3 Fl Oz
I love this product so much, but, like everyone else the water HEAVILY separated. A lot of water just shot out immediately and as i've used the cream it has felt more and more thick bc of that, shaking the tube or not. POSSIBLE SOLUTION: I actually think the company could salvage this problem by upgrading packaging to a Cosmetic JAR and then customers could take a toothpick and stir if separation has occurred by the time of purchase. I hope to try this with my next tube, just toothpaste squeezed everything out into a nice cosmetic jar and stir the water back into the product. This is such a simple solution that could really solve the product waste. This refreshes my skin, doesn't break me out, and is lovely. I break out so easily, and being middle aged my skin really requires a dense help with moisture. <3

Ordered in spring/summer and it arrived separated too BUT...
Style: Restorative Protective Cream-1.3 Fl Oz
Ok, So I heard great things about this cream and decided to order. I ordered on May 28th and I live on the Gulf Coast of Texas and it is in the low 90s right now. I was worried mine would arrived separated like many others claimed to have gotten theirs, and sadly it did. Warm weather or not, blue water shot out of the tube the minute I squeezed it. Luckily, I read Mia P's review and submerged my tube in warm water (hot water actually straight out of my instant hot water faucet). I left it for about 5 minutes then shook it vigoroously. It seemed to help but was still a bit wonky so I repeated the process again and success! My tube is totally fine now and comes out in a thick, rich, emollient cream as it is supposed to. I will update my review after I use it more but so far I love the way it feels on the skin. It is very thick but spreads nicely and completely absorbs into the skin and leaves no greasy residue which is a big deal because I have oily skin. I purchased this to help with my Retin A uglies (I actually am using Musely with .05% tretinoin) and am hoping it helps with the redness and peeling I am having. I will update my review once I've used it for a while but wanted to post this review as I saw so many people complaining about the separating and just thought I'd mention that you can fix this issue if you have it (and there is a good likely hood that you will). Update: I've been using this for a week now and I am absolutely in love with this cream! It is the most hydrating and healing cream I've ever used. Usually, thicker face creams like this would cause issues for me with acne or clogged pores as I do have oily skin that can break out if I use products with occlusive ingredients, but this one does not. In fact, my skin has never looked better! This is a must-have if you are using Retin-A/Tretinoin and going through the red/peely phase with your skin. The separation that occurred when I first received it has not been a problem and the cream is staying thick and free from any strange liquidy issues after I put it in hot water as mentioned in the first part of my review.

Saved My Skin and Healed My Eczema
Style: Restorative Protective Cream-1.3 Fl Oz, Style: Restorative Protective Cream-1.3 Fl Oz
I was having the worst skin winter of my life. I am hypersensitive and my skin started rejecting an expensive line I had used for many years (EL). My skin wasn’t healing even just using AQ balm on it and occasionally steroids when it was extra bad, and the pronounced eczema on my eyelids and neck for months was making me miserable and gross looking. I started researching brands I hadn’t tried for super sensitive skin and saw recommendations for Avene. We were leaving on a vacation and I was desperate to feel better so I ordered this and the matching serum. I started with only this cream and overnight I saw my skin start to heal. Within a few days it was like the last few months never happened. I carefully added the serum and had no issues. I used only these two products for the month I was gone and had glowing skin the whole time. This is thicker than a normal lotion since it is made to protect your skin but if you let it warm up a few seconds it smoothes easily. This will definitely remain a staple in my skin arsenal and I can’t thank you enough for making an actually gentle but effective product! This picture is two weeks after starting the product, smooth skin and confident to take selfies!

Don’t let the bad reviews deter you from saving your skin
Style: Restorative Protective Cream-3.3 Fl Oz, Style: Restorative Protective Cream-3.3 Fl Oz
I avoided purchasing this product for a while due to the bad reviews. However, it is still highly recommended by several dermatologist for skin barrier repair. Upon doing my own research, the product can separate if it is stored in cold temperatures (41 degrees or less). This can be fixed people!! It literally says it on the bottle/box and there’s even a video that Amazon posted saying this can happen. It does not affect the product. It’s just the thermal spring water and some oil separating but it can be reincorporated. So I took the risk and ordered this. I’m a first time purchaser. It was already at my door when I was leaving for the gym at 5:30am so I let the package sit in my car for about 1.5 hours (temp was about 70s). I put the tube in a glass of hot sink water for 10 minutes when I got home. I rolled the tube in my hands for a few minutes to mix everything together. Guess what. It came out like a CREAM. No liquid shot out at me. If you can read, do a little research, and can follow instructions, you can get a working product. I have sensitive skin. It’s been a struggle healing my skin barrier but it was getting better. I decided to do something dumb and try dermaplaning. My cheeks have been very red and irritated since. I did avoid active products for a few days after dermaplaning but it was still irritated. Just with the first time use of this product, it was nearly instant relief of some of the redness. It’s fragrance less which is great. It is currently on sale so I think the value is good for what it is right now. I only used two pea-sized amount for my whole face so I think it will last awhile. This can significantly help your skin barrier! Do your own research and read the instructions!

Samples great, purchased product not
Style: Restorative Protective Cream-1.3 Fl Oz
My dermatologist recommended this cream after a laser procedure, and gave me some samples to take home. I found the thick, smooth cream calming and protective for my irritated skin. The zinc oxide leaves a whitish cast at first, which does tend to fade after it sinks in, but it could be problem if you have darker skin. Not an issue for me since I’m pale. Because I liked the samples, I ordered two full-size tubes. Both arrived with the product inside completely separated. The texture was nothing like the samples. I opened the first tube and clear, watery liquid spilled everywhere. I quickly recapped it, shook and squeezed the tube as much as possible to try to re-emulsify the product, and it remained stubbornly separated, with chunky white paste suspended in thin liquid. I’ve thoroughly shaken the second tube and continue to hear the sloshing of thin liquid. So apparently once the cream has separated, it will not re-mix. I don’t know what caused the unacceptable condition of the product—manufacturing variation, storage conditions prior to shipping, or conditions during shipment. Whatever it was, I would not buy this product in this way again. The samples were a five star product. The full size product I received was zero stars.
