Tide’s Embrace – Vintage Baroque Pearl Bracelet

Our lovingly handcrafted baroque pearl pieces are more than just jewelry; they’re a small touch of joy you can reach for again and again.

Details

  • Pearl type: Near-round freshwater baroque pearls

  • Pearl size: 10–12mm, high luster

  • Metal: Solid 925 sterling silver bangle & findings

  • Standard inner circumference: about 17.5cm (~6.9")

Design Story

This vintage baroque pearl bracelet actually grew out of my original Tide’s Embrace design. I kept the same flowing sterling silver bangle – like a line drawn by water – but this time I paired it with larger 10–12mm near-round baroque pearls to give the bracelet more presence.

The silver part is completely solid 925 sterling silver, not plated. I wanted it to feel cool and smooth when you first put it on, and then slowly warm up against the skin. The soft curves follow the wrist instead of sitting perfectly straight, so from some angles it looks almost like liquid metal.

For the baroque pearls, I picked pieces that are “almost round” but still have that gentle irregularity. Under natural light they’re very bright, but not harsh – the kind of glow that makes a bracelet look quietly expensive without shouting. I like that balance: not a classic full-strand, not a minimalist bangle, but something in between – a baroque pearl bracelet that feels modern and a little vintage at the same time.

If you’re someone who finds full pearl strands a bit formal, this is a good middle ground. You can wear it with a T-shirt and jeans, a slip dress, or a blazer. It’s the kind of vintage pearl bracelet that looks like you might have picked it up on a trip, rather than from a big jewelry chain.

Price Update – 2026

In 2026, I had to make a small price adjustment to this bracelet.

Over the past year, the cost of silver has risen dramatically. The solid 925 sterling silver bangle used in this design now costs nearly three times what it did before. I considered switching to a lighter silver setting, or even using plated or mixed metals to keep the original price — but that didn’t feel right.

This piece was always meant to be solid sterling silver. I don’t want to compromise the weight, the balance, or the feeling of real silver warming against your skin.

So instead of changing the material, I chose to make a limited adjustment to the price — just enough so the rising silver cost doesn’t completely absorb the small margin I keep on the pearls.

I hope you understand. The design, the materials, and the quality remain exactly as I intended.

Fit & Custom Size

The standard inner circumference is about 17.5cm (~6.9"), which fits most wrists comfortably.
If you need a different size, just leave your wrist measurement in the order note at checkout (in the cart page) and I’ll adjust the bracelet length for you.

One-of-a-Kind Baroque Pearls

Each baroque pearl is slightly different in shape and surface – that’s part of the charm of baroque pearl jewelry. I’ll always choose pearls with strong luster and clean surfaces, but your bracelet will not be an exact copy of the photos. Think of it as your own small variation on the design.

Care Instructions

  • Avoid long contact with perfume, hairspray, swimming pools, or strong cleaners.

  • Wipe your baroque pearl bracelet gently with a soft cloth after wearing.

  • Store it separately from other metal jewelry to prevent scratching the pearls.

FAQ – Vintage Baroque Pearl Bracelet

Q: Are these real pearls or imitation?
A: They are real freshwater baroque pearls, grown on our family farm and selected one by one for this vintage-style bracelet.

Q: Will my bracelet look exactly like the pictures?
A: No – every baroque pearl bracelet is slightly different in shape and overtones, but I keep the overall look, size and luster consistent.

Q: Is this bracelet adjustable?
A: The sterling silver bangle has a fixed curve, but I can customize the overall size. Leave your wrist measurement in the order note if you need a tighter or looser fit.

Q: Can I wear it every day?
A: Yes, this vintage pearl bracelet is designed for regular wear. Just avoid strong chemicals and remember to wipe the pearls clean after use.

Freedom isnt free
Format: Kindle
This is an unbelievable story. Of course I had known of the USS Indianapolis and the shark attack, but never had I actually listened to a first hand account. How terrified these men had to have been. Its beyond comprehension really. The sacrifice, bravery and fortitude humbles me. Thank you to all who serve.

Best way to explore Paris
Format: Paperback
This book is awesome! I enjoyed reading it just as much as my kids did! I love the layout and the way that the book assigns the kids to be secret agents, but defers to the case officers (parents) for the final say. We were in Paris for 1 week and although the weather was less than cooperative, we were able to capture our 100 points and award our 4yo and 7yo their secret agent certificates. I love the fact that you can work on this book in any order and do as little or as much as you want at each attraction. The price was awesome and worth every penny. My 7yo particularly enjoyed the challenges at the Musee D'Orsay and the Louvre and it was a great way to keep those visits focused and entertaining for the kids. My 4yo was a little young to stay engaged with every "mission", but the activities were easy enough that she could help (ex. finding a winter scene in the Musee D'Orsay). I loved that this book engaged the kids but didn't detract from any of our visits (we didn't feel like we had to go "out of our way" to find anything). The only disappointment was that they didn't include Versailles and Sainte Chappelle. I have not only recommended this book to all my of friends traveling to Paris (honestly with or without kids), but I have also already purchased the similar books for London, New York, and Washington DC. Can't wait to see what other cities they add!

Afun way to see Paris as a kid
Format: Paperback
Great way to have kids really look at the sights of Paris. Encourages group or single competition to do each activity. Lots of visual clues.

Great travel book for kids.
Format: Paperback
This book was great, I plan to get one for any other city we visit that they have a book for. Good level info for my 8 year old but also had some fun things for my 4 year old to do. Very flexible so we could just see what we were going to see & work it into the ‘mission’. We would bust it out at our cafe/people watching stops to see what we needed to do at the next stop. The information was fun for kids and adults. You get to set points for a few things so the mission is completely attainable no matter what you do in the city AND you can set points for adventurous things your kiddos might not otherwise do... eg I got my 4 year old to try escargot!
