Bring cherished memories to life with this one-of-a-kind memorial ring. Each piece is crafted by hand in Tennessee using solid sterling silver and a hand‑cut Blue Turquoise Tru‑Stone cabochon. Each stone reveals its own distinctive marbled pattern so no two rings will ever be exactly alike.
The .925 Sterling Silver setting features delicate leaf and flower details, giving it a vintage feel without being fussy. Hidden beneath the stone is a discreet compartment that can securely hold a tiny amount of ashes, lock of hair, beach sand, flower petals, fabric, fur or other sentimental material. Your personal memento is sealed inside, allowing you to carry a piece of your story wherever life takes you.
Available in sizes 4–11.5 (half sizes included), this ring is comfortable enough for everyday wear yet special enough to serve as a non-traditional engagement ring or heirloom. If you want a piece of jewelry that combines art, durability and deep personal meaning, this handmade Tru‑Stone ring might just be the perfect fit.

The turquoise Tru-stone is not natural turquoise. Tru-Stone is a man-made composite created with real stone powder mixed with resin (often with pigments or metallic flecks), pressure-stabilized into solid blanks. It machines cleanly like stone, polishes to a glossy finish, and is great for durable ring inlays.

Please send no more than half a teaspoon of materials.

Wise Advice for the College-Bound Student
Format: Kindle
I read this book after reading Newport's other study guide How to Become a Straight A Student and was looking forward to more of his easy to understand, quickly read nuggets of wisdom. Although I found the advice in his previous book to be more helpful, I did fine some words of advice that I will surely put to use in my upcoming semester. Among the gems I found, Newport reminds students to "Study in Fifty-Minute Chunks" and "Learn to Listen." In these short chapters there are ideas to help the student better utilize their time by minimizing distractions and knowing exactly what to listen for in a lecture. By far my favorite and most memorable line from this book is "A good analogy is that writing is to a college student what shooting hoops is to a basketball player." Wise advice indeed. I would recommend this book to high school an college students alike. The chapters are short and jam packed with good advice.

Good for some
Format: Paperback
Good advice but it's written for college students that don't work. Not for someone who goes to night school like I do.

An excellent story well worth a read
Format: Kindle
This was so well written, I loved every second of it. It was a lovely take on vampires and what they are or can be. Spoilers: This wasn’t an easy read for me. How Miyako’s parents acted… that was my parents only worse in a lot of ways and only better in that they never hit me as an adolescent. So reading this brought up memories of the abuse I suffered. Even so, it is a really good story and I highly recommend. I hope to read more of her stories soon and follow Miyako and see how she and her family grow as characters.
