NanoHD F6 Fiber Optic Video Transmission System

Let’s be real: RF is a nightmare. Between the CAA breathing down your neck, WiFi routers screaming in the 5GHz band, and the laws of physics generally conspiring against your video feed, sometimes wireless just doesn't cut it. Enter the NanoHD F6. It uses fiber optic video transmission to send 4K video over a physical glass tether. Yes, a wire. But a really, really long, light-speed wire that laughs in the face of electromagnetic interference.

Why You Want It

Because you enjoy crystal-clear video more than you enjoy gambling with packet loss. This isn't for your average bando-basher; this is for when "mission critical" actually means something, or you're flying in an environment with enough RF noise to cook a potato. With zero electromagnetic interference and a transmission distance of up to 20km (provided you have a spool that long and a drone that can lift it), the F6 is the industrial-grade solution to your connectivity woes. It supports HDMI and Ethernet inputs, meaning it plays nice with your fancy gimbal cameras and that Raspberry Pi project you swore you'd finish.

The Nitty Gritty (Specs)

  • Weight: 57g (Lighter than the guilt of buying more gear).
  • Dimensions: 83 × 46 × 13mm (Pocket-sized, if you have square pockets).
  • Input Voltage: 9-28V (Flexible, unlike your hamstrings).
  • Video Interface: HDMI & Ethernet (Backwards compatible up to 4K 30fps).
  • Fiber Interface: FC/APC Single-mode (The pointy bit goes here).
  • Latency: "Ultra-low" (Because light moves fast, Einstein).
  • Shell Material: Aluminum Alloy (Plastic is for toys).
  • Operating Temp: -40°C to +70°C (It handles extremes better than you do).
  • HDMI Video Output
  • Supports Bidirectional TTL/SBUS/UART between your drone and ground unit

Interfaces & Connectivity

We know you love pinouts. The F6 features a GH1.25 interface for Signal Data (TTL/SBUS) and supports protocols like RTMP, RTSP, and TS. Basically, if it talks video, this thing probably translates it.

What’s in the Box*

  • 1x NanoHD F6 Unit
  • 1x A sense of wired superiority
  • *Cables/Pigtails (We assume, but check the packet before you solder).

Disclaimer

Fiber optic cables are glass. They do not like being bent in half. If you snap the cable, don't come crying to us about "wireless features."

Still Here?

You’re actually reading the footer? Impressive. Most people saw "fiber optic" and clicked away to find a VTX that blasts 2W of RF. Since you appreciate the stability of a hard line, you might as well add this to your cart before we realize we priced it too low. Go on, secure your link.

Ease & attraction on counter.
Color: Black
The best thing I have bought in a while. The stability & the ease of allowing items to dry make it worth the cost.

Sturdy and practical
Color: Black, Color: Black
Doesn’t take up a lot of space. The basket to hold your brushes can come out. So if you have a shorter brush you can use it without the taller basket. Holds my hand soap and dish soap with extra room if needed. Has a little shelf on the front that I put my straw cleaning brush. The bottom dish comes out for easy cleaning and catching water drips. It’s sturdy and pretty cute.

Works Great
Color: Black
This is very durable and easy to assemble. The water does drain nicely but i'd wash it every week or so. They come with small black plastic to put on the bottom so it does not slide around. Made of plastic so easy to clean. Organizes all of your sponges nicely. Looks great on the counter. Easy to move and adjust.
