Created through an intuitive process, this work was guided by feeling rather than expectation. Marks were added, obscured, and rediscovered, allowing the image to unfold naturally. For me, Pearl is a reminder that some of the most beautiful parts of ourselves are not formed despite our struggles, but because of them. Like a pearl beneath the surface, they are revealed slowly, through patience, acceptance, and time.
