After charging the Hot Knife for 3-1/2 hours, the tip will reach its maximum temperature of 1100°F within ten seconds and be ready for 200 cuts. The Quick FX3 Hot Knife is perfect for cutting, carving and shaping foam core board, plastic, wax, soap, synthetic material and more. To quickly change the tip, just twist the tip a quarter turn, and the tip will lock in and out. This hot knife is USB rechargeable so now you dont have to worry about that pesky cord getting in the way. Use the Heat Shrink Tip (sold separately) with the Hot Knife for heat shrinking and flattening foam core and many other materials.
