Pinot Noir Gin - A luxury limited edition luxury gin

Introducing Pinot Noir Gin from Secret Garden Distillery, a premium spirit that combines the rich, complex flavours of a Pinot Noir wine with the botanicals of our signature gin. Sustainably crafted with a focus on quality and the environment, Pinot Noir Gin is a perfect choice for those who appreciate premium, eco-conscious spirits.  However it is a limited edition gin - we can only use whatever grapes we harvest and once the gin is gone - its gone until our next harvest.

A truly unique gin for a wine-lover looking for something different or for a gin lover that loves wine. We grow Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes in the Distillery’s glasshouse. These grape varieties are traditionally associated with the Champagne region, and create some of the most beautiful wines. We think we have created a truly outstanding gin that combines the best of our gin with our grape harvest creating a luxurious and distinctive gin experience.

Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes were harvested by hand in 2023 and then left to soak in our base gin of Juniper, Coriander, Angelica Root and Winter Savory. It has been racked and settled then filtered several times before bottling, with all the colour and flavour coming from the grape jus. The delicate pink colour of the gin this year needed no extra petal infusions it was perfection just as nature intended. Pinot Noir grapes have a lower skin anthocyanin (coloring matter) content than most other classical red/black varieties. The delicate sweetness of the wine grapes complements the crisp juniper and herbal botanicals, resulting in a smooth, flavourful gin that’s perfect for sipping or mixing into sophisticated cocktails.

This year again we've decided it tastes best at 46% ABV. The team all agree - this is even better than last year.

And remember - there are no added sugars, artificial colourings, flavourings or additives….just nature distilled.

We are very proud of our Pinot Noir gin which can only be bought direct from us - so we'd love to hear from you and see if you like it as much as we do. Let us know!

Tasting Notes:

Nice Scent but Too Early to See Results
I’ve just started using this batana oil, so it’s too early to say if it actually helps with hair growth or thickness. I’ll need to use it consistently for a while before seeing real results. So far, I do like the smell—it has a nice scent and doesn’t feel overwhelming. The oil itself feels nourishing and easy to apply to the scalp and hair. The size is decent for the price, but like most hair treatments, the effectiveness will really depend on long-term use. Pros: Pleasant scent Feels nourishing on hair and scalp Easy to apply Cons: Too early to tell results Overall, it seems promising, but you’ll need to give it time to see if it actually delivers on the hair growth claims.

Great batana oil for hair
Banana oil is so incredible, I will never stop singing its praises. I am prone to dry scalp and have thin, curly hair that needs just the right amount of moisture or it will frizz out. Batana oil has helped restore balance to my scalp and reduced flakes and it adds just enough moisture to my hair. This oil is a great version. It is thick, but not so thick that it doesn't melt in your hands if you rubs them together. I also have not noticed any stickiness or excessive left on my hands that can happen with some Banana oil brands. I do want to note that I usually put the batana oil on my scalp, let it sit for 15-20 minutes then wash it out, if you are going to let it stay in your hair, this may be too heavy for you. Otherwise, a great deal at the list price of $14, since a little goes a long way.

On the fence...
Will be updating review after I have used it for more than a week. But so far here are the pros and cons: Pros: Smells good Seems like a little goes a long way Easy to apply Cons: Not sure if this is because I didn't use Sulfate free shampoo, but felt like with one wash I didn't get all the product out of my hair, so when It dried, it still looked greasy/oily Will be washing my hair again with sulfate free shampoo, then will do another application in another day or so. it says to use 2-3 times a week, so I'll use it 3 times a week for 2 weeks and then come back and update my review. But so far, it seams like a good product and for the money, it's a fair value.

Great For Dry Hair
I've never tried Batana Oil before, so I had no idea what to expect. It's a great oil for my hair. I love that it is all-natural oil and is more like a paste. It spreads easily on my hair. I love that I can put a tiny bit on my finger and rub it directly into my dry scalp. The oil has an interesting but pleasant smell. It's hard to describe. It reminds me a bit of a cross between coffee and cacao, but more nutty and mild. I like it. It's not too strong. The directions say to apply and leave in for 20 minutes, then wash out with a sulfate-free shampoo. I like to leave it in my hair for a day or two before washing it again. It's a great conditioning oil for dry and damaged hair. It might feel heavy on fine or thin hair, but I like it on my medium-thick hair. The only reason I dropped this a star is that I'm dubious of the claim that it promotes hair growth. I think it helps my dry hair from breaking off, but I don't think it can do much for most hair loss. However, for hair conditioning, this is definitely a five star product.
