This listing is for Anthurium (Carlablackiae x BVEP) x Super Massive Spider, an exciting hybrid created from two very contrasting yet exceptional parents.
The mother plant is a mutated Carlablackiae x BVEP from Tezula Plants, collected directly by us during our visit to their Florida nursery. Across the entire batch, only two plants showed a notably wide sinus, which immediately caught our attention. One was not available for sale, so we secured this specimen. Since import, it has continued to impress us, with each new leaf sizing up significantly and now producing the largest leaves across all our plants.
For the pollen donor, we deliberately went in the opposite direction, using Super Massive Spider by Eddy Pranoto. Known for its closed sinus and dramatic spidery veining, it was chosen to contrast the wide-sinus mother plant. The result has exceeded our expectations — even at the 1–2 leaf stage, the seedlings are already showing exceptionally dark coloration, hinting at very strong potential as they mature.
Seedlings are still young and developing, but the early traits we are seeing make this a cross we are genuinely excited to watch grow on.
