Alla vista si annuncia con un colore rosso rubino, attraversato da riflessi granata. Al naso è intenso e profondo, con sentori di frutta rossa che si alternano a note più floreali e speziate. All’assaggio è di ottimo volume, concentrato, con un tannino ancora leggermente “nervoso”, che necessita di qualche momento di maturazione ulteriore per integrarsi al 100% nella struttura generale.Il cru di “Currà”, nel comune di Neive, è il luogo dove crescono le viti di nebbiolo che danno origine a questo Barbaresco DOCG firmato Bruno Rocca. Una bottiglia decisa ed equilibrata, in cui il tannino è scalpitante e poderoso, colpendo al palato con un sorso deciso. Le uve, dopo la raccolta vinificano in acciaio per 20-25 giorni, per poi maturare per 12 mesi in barrique e per ulteriori 12 mesi in botte grande. Un grande vino rosso piemontese, che, tra i tanti pregi, ha anche quello di mostrare una spiccata propensione all’invecchiamento, dote che gli consente di farne anche un ottimo acquisto per il futuro.
Un vino di ottima statura, che si sposa perfettamente con selvaggina, carni rosse e formaggi stagionati. E’ assolutamente da provare con il risotto al cinghiale.
