These products have a unique origin story - It starts with a local woman in rural Cambodia who took action to improve the living conditions of farmers living in poverty and exposed to hazardous materials. She saw that bags used for processing and shipping fish, animal feed, cement, and other products were being discarded improperly. The woman began recycling these materials and employing local families to create durable, waterproof tote bags. When an American woman encountered these bags at a Cambodian night market and met the woman behind the initiative, they discussed the potential for her to design and produce her products using these recycled materials. Inspired by the artisans' backstory and the environmental impact, the American woman founded a company that not only supports the well-being of Cambodian artisans but also promotes ethical, global style. Working with more artisans in Cambodia, the company now provides employment opportunities for those who have been displaced from their farmlands or impacted by landmines or polio. With a dedication to sustainability and community, they use natural and recycled materials in all their packaging.
