As the oldest expression of Port Charlotte released to date, the 18-Year-Old retains the classic vibrancy of heavily peated Islay single malt while boasting added complexity from the influence of refill sherry and wine casks.

Crafted by head distiller Adam Hannett, this decadent bottling is truly unforgettable. With a phenol level of 40 parts per million (PPM) and an alcohol strength of 54.3% ALC./VOL, this heavily peated Islay single malt scotch whisky is a testament to quality.

Distilled from 100% Scottish mainland barley, it matures in 74% refill sherry casks and 26% refill French oak wine casks, resulting in an elegant and well-rounded taste profile.

Notes of dried fruit, figs, sweet sultanas, and raisins greet the nose, followed by soft smoke and mellow oak. The palate offers a gentle and beautifully balanced experience, with sweet and fruity flavors complemented by warm toasted spices, citrus, toffee, and honey. The finish is characterized by wood spices, smoked leather, and a subtle nutty salinity, with soft peat smoke lingering. This unique and complex dram is a must-try for whisky enthusiasts seeking an exceptional Islay experience.
