SunCoast's triple-disc converter is tighter than the OEM converter and couples much sooner. This is the torque converter for guys who use their trucks for work, towing and heavy hauling. With the greater efficiency, the Triple Disc Torque Converter will help you by maintaining lower transmission temperatures, especially when towing on larger grades through the mountains.This will also improve the efficiency of engine braking down larger steep grades with a heavy load attached. This converter is intended for stock turbo chargers; larger chargers will struggle to spool when doing boosted launches due to the low rpm lockup. This is a great modification for stock or slightly tuned work/snowplow trucks.

I really like this one. Even though the Poppy character is a bit stubborn and won’t accept she is not really a detective, yet. The rest of the characters and plot delightful. I’m already looking forward to the next one.

What a wonderful mystery, a grand heroine who is polishing her detective skills.
All the pomp of the gentile classes at their play. Murders, theft, and dogs in the highlands, what could be better?

Promising start to new mystery series.

Lady Persephone "Poppy" Proudfoot attends a house party at an estate, meets some American actors, and tries to solve the murder of a stranger to the village whose body is discovered by the lake. The first in a series, this book is a quick read with a plot that moves along, although some of the large cast of characters seem superfluous (e.g., the American visitors). Poppy is a widow, a law-school graduate (in the 1920s!), and ran a hospital for wounded soldiers during WW1, so an interesting character to read about. A promising beginning to the series and I look forward to the next book. Thanks to Netgalley and Bookouture for the eARC.
