Just down the road a few miles, the LBJ Ranch, also known as the Texas Whitehouse. On the ranch are the President's First School, Birthplace Home, and the Johnson Family Cemetery, where both President and Lady Bird Johnson are buried. LBJ - Was a “larger than life” persona. To thousands of people who came under LBJ’s spell, the people he sought to convert or inspire or thank, he was a giant.
