An antique French 19th Century miniature portrait of a lady. The watercolor is hand painted and signed “M.G.  Under glass and enclosed in a gilt metal oval pendant style frame. The artist has captured her delicate features and brown eyes beautifully.

Measurements; frame 2 ¼” X 1 7/8”, portrait 1” X 7/8”

Condition Report; Very good, interior fabric I feel is original, gray fabric on back most likely a replacement. One of the 4 small pins on the frame is missing; however, the 3 that remain hold the portrait and glass tightly. One small flat chip on the glass which is not noticeable unless the glass is removed as the chip is under the edge of the frame.
