Fortrex 80 Trolling Motor - Dual Spectrum CHIRP - 24V - 80LB - 52"

Go ahead, make its day. Fortrex® is fearless, with a ruthlessly tough anodized aluminum mount, Mono-Arm Design, and 80 pounds of thrust. It tears through anything in its path — from thick weeds to stump fields — to deliver you to the fish.

Lift-Assist Mount

The patented Lift-Assist Design cuts the weight of the stow and deploy in half. Features a stainless steel, nitrogen gas-charged spring.

Removable Bowguard 360°® Bracket

Breaks away on impact from any angle and automatically resets itself, giving uninterrupted fishing. Plus, its dual-bearing system eliminates noise, and the entire mount is easily removable.

Mono-Arm Design

Made of extruded, anodized aluminum with a solid one-piece construction that helps the trolling motor run quieter with less wear for a longer life.

Built-In Dual Spectrum Chirp Sonar

Keeps the transducer and wiring completely concealed and protected, running everything through the trolling motor's shaft. By covering a wide range of frequencies, Humminbird®'s CHIRP produces more accurate and detailed returns of fish, structure, and bottom than traditional sonar.

Counter-Tension Stabilizer

An integrated spring in this mount applies force, whether the trolling motor is stowed or deployed. That translates to a trolling motor with no play, no give, reduced steering torque, and years of silent operation.

Illuminated Directional Indicator

Easy-to-read illuminated directional indicator built right into the motor head tells users the intended direction in any condition.

Heel-Toe / Cable-Steer Foot Pedal

Get heel/toe control of the motor with this ultra-responsive foot pedal that includes speed control and momentary and constant on/off. Made with a high-impact composite material for unparalleled durability.

Push-to-Test Battery Meter

Press a button on the trolling motor head to get an instant status of the battery life you have left.

Digital Maximizer™

Provides up to 5 times longer run time on a single battery charge. These variable-speed trolling motors let users dial in the exact speed, delivering only as much power as is needed, helping to conserve your battery for a full day of fishing.

Weedless Wedge™ 2 Prop

With swept-back flared blades to power through anything without battery-draining chopping and hacking, the Weedless Wedge™ 2 is one of the most trusted props in fishing.

Indestructible Composite Shaft—Guaranteed for Life

At the core of your Minn Kota trolling motor is an indestructible composite shaft. It's a Minn Kota exclusive, and Minn Kota guarantees it for life.

Cool, Quiet Power

Every Minn Kota lower unit runs cool to extend trolling motor life and stays quiet.

Clear and powerful analysis.
Format: Paperback
The three books in Bowlby's trilogy on Attachment, Separation and Loss need to be read a whole. Using the studies and case histories of children being separated from their mothers and important others, in a wide range of circumstances from separations of only a few minutes, through separations of several weeks on up to prolonged and permanent separation due to divorce and death, Bowlby outlines a new way of understanding neurosis, psychosis and optimal, healthy functioning. Using the lens of a Darwinian analysis, and the case histories written up by psychoanalysts spanning decades, he compares and contrasts his new theory with that of previous psychological thought, especially the psychoanalytic tradition. I found his analysis penetrating and illuminating. It sets the stage and formulates the hypotheses for further research. Much of that research has now taken place and has borne out Bowlby's theories. Not all of it, of course. Because Bowlby's attachment theory became and continues to be such a foundational analysis for so much that has followed in its wake, from evolutionary psychology to child development to psychotherapy, it is a must read for anyone interested in these and related fields.

A briliant book
Format: Paperback
This book is very neat in its specifics about the effects of absence when a mother is not in a child's life and the roles and effects of mother figures as well. Myself dealing with abandonment issues from my mom and my mother figure in my life, this book really assists in identifying the issues caused from the absent parent. Though the book doesn't offer any real advice as to deal with these problems that arise, it identify's the issues and allows you to further your research in progression. The writing style used can get rather complex though, be prepared for that. I agree with everything provided in this book and recommend it to anyone who's interested in either the psychological effects of absence of a parent, or seek to identify it themselves.

Bowlby Books
Format: Paperback
As an MFT graduate student, first hand accounts are important. For the price, add depth to your research writing as the theory intended. Bowlby makes separation axiety, child anger and anger clear. This is a good read even for those who are not in a clinical field. Worth a lot more too me than I paid.

Another piece to the triology offered by Bowlby
Format: Paperback
As with Bowlbys' other works, this classic furthers the hypothesis of negative emotional influence on the continued development of humans as we integrate with our social environments. I liked it...in fact, liked all of Bowlbys' writings.
