Ideal for calf creep feeding at 3-4 months, when fodder is short, to reduce the feed requirements of cows and help them maintain good condition, and to add extra weight to weaners at sale. They are to be fed in conjunction with free access to pasture and forages
During the introduction of feeding, start to offer pellets at 0.2% of bodyweight per day and slowly increase the daily amount over 10-14 days up to around 1-2% of bodyweight per day, with forage fibre always available to make up the balance of the total diet intake. Ensure that clean fresh water is available at all times.
