They are in near excellent condition with no moth tracking or damage. These have sliders that would slide over the wool shoulder boards. The sliders have a chain stitched number XII in blue thread. This would be a removable cypher, and most likely is the district number assigned to this soldier. These slides are made of wool and have shrunk a bit during storage, they do not fit the shoulder boards, but with a little steam they could be coaxed back to their original size. These are in very good condition.
