It does have tape along preforated stub edge holding the 2 pieces together. Some creases folds. Some discoloration marks foxing from aging and use lettering ink has started to fade. Edges corners have some wear and tear holes along side has some rust marks. Please see photos.

So, I bought two pairs on sale....one in navy and the other in taupe. Both pairs have a streak mark on the same side, same exact area. I'm on the fence about returning them but I did get them on sale and if the mark doesn't come out in the wash, I can't really wear the in public unless I wear something long to cover the upper thigh area. They fit great and are very comfortable but then there is that unsightly mark. For reference, I am just under 5'0, 105 lbs and bought size small. I will have a think about it the next few days about returning them...or not.
