De Dominical Red van Prior Lucas is het absolute meesterwerk binnen het gamma van Rui Lucas. Afkomstig van een meer dan 100 jaar oude wijngaard, vormt deze wijn een eerbetoon aan vakmanschap, traditie en terroir. Rui Lucas onderhoudt de wijngaard met uiterste zorg om de eeuwenoude stokken in topconditie te houden, zodat deze wijngaard zijn uitzonderlijke karakter nog lang kan doorgeven.

Door de leeftijd van de wijnstokken is de opbrengst beperkt, maar juist dat maakt deze wijn zo uniek. Het weinige fruit dat de stokken dragen, is van ongeëvenaarde kwaliteit en levert een intens geconcentreerde, krachtige rode wijn op. In het glas onthult Dominical Red een intense robijnrode kleur, gevolgd door een complex palet van rijp rood en zwart fruit, subtiele kruiden en zacht-aardse tonen. In de mond combineert hij kracht en elegantie, met fluweelzachte tannine en een indrukwekkende diepgang die lang blijft nazinderen.

Purchased a size large for a man 5’6 175 lbs with a small belly so peacoat double breasted look - looks great! Lining is standard and the grey color is very appealing. This is soft feeling coat made to look like wool without the heavy rougher wool feel. Only issue is that the coat comes packaged in a small bag and so when you open it the coat it totally wrinkled. You can knock out the wrinkles in the dryer with a wrinkle release dryer sheet or use a garment steamer but honestly the dryer trick is the key.
