De voordelen van deze ronde steakplate

Mooie degelijke gietijzeren steakplaat. In een heel handzaam formaat. Perfect voor kleine maaltijden of bijgerechten. De pan is geweldig om te sauteren, voor de bereiding van sausen, het searen van gerechten en natuurlijk om je gerechten te serveren. In de oven of op de BBQ, het kan allemaal. Door de vorm is de steakplaat ook heel erg geschikt als lekbak voor op de kamado of BBQ.

Onderhoud van een gietijzeren steakplate

Voor het eerste gebruik is het belangrijk de steakplaat te seasonen:

Maak de plaat goed schoon met water en afwasmiddel. Zet hem vervolgens in de oven of op de barbecue (160-200 graden) en verwarm de pan minimaal dertig minuten. Maak de plaat hierna goed schoon met een doek of keukenpapier.

Vet de gietijzeren steakplaat daarna in met Crisco, geklaarde boter of rijstolie en haal het overtollige vet weg met een doek of keukenpapier. Plaats de steakplaat terug in de oven of op de barbecue en verwarm deze voor een uur. Laat deze daarna afkoelen en neem het overtollige vet weer weg. Wanneer de plaat is afgekoeld, vet deze dan nog 1 keer in. Verwarm nogmaals een uur in de oven of op de barbecue. Nu is de steakplaat klaar voor gebruik.

LET OP: gebruik geen zonnebloemolie voor het seasonen, daar gaat de steakplaat van plakken.

Na gebruik volstaat een sopje van water met een paar druppels afwasmiddel om de steakplaat schoon te maken. De gietijzeren pan is niet geschikt voor de vaatwasser.

Tip: Toch iets te lang laten staan met water erin? Geen nood, de vliegroest die dan ontstaat, verdwijnt als sneeuw voor de zon als je de steakplaat opnieuw seasoned!

My Niece dog loves it!

This ball launcher takes a bit of getting. used to, but it is really helpful for those of us who are not MLB pitchers! The launcher itself is a sturdy plastic that is not brittle yet not soft; when the ball is launched there is no destructive bending in the shaft. The handle is padded and ergonomically sound while the cup end cradles the ball but has cut-outs on each side for easy loading and unloading of the ball. It did take a bit of practice for me to get the hang of it, but for my husband and son it was much easier. The launcher works well to help us older, non-gifted athletes launch the ball farther and faster while saving the shoulder, elbow, and wrist (important if there is any arthritis). The ball fits nicely into the cup and releases easily. The 2.5 size was too small for my Doberman, so we opted for the 3.5 in launcher. This smaller launcher and ball are now in the employ of my sister and her husband for their retriever-border collie mix, an 18 month old little fireball!. This is just the right size for her. My sister's husband has difficulty with arthritis and is neither quick on his feet nor able to stand very long. So the launcher comes in very handy. He can actually sit in a lawn chair and throw the ball repeatedly when their dog retrieves and returns it to him. That is a win- win!
