Er mag maar één knikker overblijven met dit houten spel 'Solitaire' van het Franse merk Djeco. Het traditionele spel, in een sierlijke uitvoering, stelt het strategisch denkvermogen en de concentratie, van jong en oud, flink op de proef. Een heerlijk spel waarbij je makkelijk de tijd vergeet. 

Vul de gaten van het bord met de 32 knikkers en laat de middelste leeg. Verplaats één voor één de knikkers door over een andere knikker heen te springen, naar een leeg gat direct daarnaast. Is het gat al gevuld? Dan is deze zet niet toegestaan. Ook diagonale zetten zijn niet toegestaan.

De knikker waaroverheen gesprongen wordt, wordt uit het spel gehaald en geplaatst in één van de vier grote gaten. Deze knikker speelt niet meer mee. Speel door tot er slechts één knikker op het bord overblijft. Dan is het spel afgelopen.

Met het compacte formaat past altijd wel in een tas voor onderweg.
